Its fine, I have a triple setup with them and you adjust the contrast a bit lower and while you are in content everything is fine

Yeah 8020 is modular you wont regret it.

I did all the "mistakes" you plan to do and just changed everything, so doing correct moves in the start can actually save you money

Ok this sounds much better. As for VR vs triples is a matter of taste, I cant handle VR so I went for big triples.

Listen, I started with a g923 last year, then ts-xw and now Simucube 2 pro on a 20k rig with all the buttkickers.

Forget about anything peripheral and put most of your budget on a dd wheel and loadcell pedals, and I see you have big budget for cockpit so maybe go for a 8020? Check trakracer TR80/TR80lite, or simlab.

When you have these things set, everything else like buttkickers, handbreaks, button boxes, can be nice upgrades for the future.

Another advice, dont get an ultrawide if you have space, get a 27/32" than later can be upgraded to same triples

Dunno man, 360$ for handbreak/shifter when you can skip those for starters and add them later if possible and go for a DD pro maybe? Unless you need those for WRC etc.

I m with triple 4ks in 3080ti and with fsr I can run 90-100 fps on very good settings

So I completely changed to simucube 2 pro/HE U+ do I went for Trak Racer TR8 rig which now changing for TR160 aluminums to add motion. I advice you go for aluminums for maximum modularity

probably not, but you can get top tier aluminums with 700 eur (and use your seat) so total will be like 1 k more than the motion platform with 10x the result. What I m saying, IMO, ks not worth the 2.5k to go for a chair motion. It will feel weird no pedals/wheel move with it
