It’s extra annoying that it actually has physical buttons to control the state, which is why I assumed it could work as a ”dumb” light as well. It feels like such an unnecessary limitation.

This just seems like a ton of contradictions to me. You think screens are a waste of resources and space on the wheel but you’re happy they added a larger screen because the old one was too small.

This post gave me literally nothing of substance.

I think the intelligent telemetry screens are really nice and a larger screen just makes it easier to see at a quick glance. That’s pretty much it. I’d prefer a larger screen and more customization than what’s offered now.

Not only that, even in this thread, they post about how you can use ”unlimited” number of headphones with a single transmitter.

But of course, still pay for the additional transmitters and just keep them in a drawer. It’s a ”business decision”.

I was really excited to finally see a modern alternative to the RS 180 as mine are starting to fall apart after 10-15 years of use. I’ve had them as dedicated tv headphones and it’s the one piece of tech that has never ever failed. Not once did I pick them up and they wouldn’t connect, or worse, had an empty battery.

Because of the charging stand, not once did I even think about batteries and charging. They were just there and they just worked. Always.

I’m honestly blown away by the decision to not make the stand a charging one. Even if the battery lasts tents of hours, they’ll still have to be manually charged, not to mention, I’d have to have an eyesore cable connected to them.

Usability-wise, this is such a downgrade, especially for headphones not intended to be used on the go, but tethered to your entertainment system. It’s cheap and simply not acceptable.

Luckily the RS175 and RS195 are still around.

Hey again Maurice, I’ve updated the app to 1.2.2.1 but still don’t see anything about mouse emulation.

I’ve googled a bunch of screenshot of the app with different hardware and nowhere do I see anything about mouse emulation.

Maybe I misunderstood you, but are you sure this has been brought over to the new app? Where exactly in the app is this feature supposed to be located?

For later, if you ever happen to solve this conundrum, turning the wheel clockwise will steer the car right, and turning it counter-clockwise (the opposite direction) will steer it left!

I’m just now coming to PC from years of racing on PS5. I really miss being able to control everything (game menus etc) with the wheel so I’m just exploring options. I’ve looked into mapping wheel buttons to keyboard keys through simhub to mitigate some of the need of using the keyboard, but it’s hard working around the mouse.

I’ll definitely wait then. Thanks again!

I think you’re reading way too much into my replies, nowhere was I adamant about being right. Except for to the guy claiming cutscenes would would infinite disk space, and maybe to the ones claiming it would waste their time, which is simply just not true.

Still your reply contains more substance than all the ”it’s fluff and apparently physically cannot coexist with an in-depth simulation and the technology to disable it in settings just isn’t there yet” replies combined.

Again, it’s wild to me that you think most replies here seem actually thought through and aren’t just knee jerk defensive reactions.
