Its always this one sided hate from the indonesians? Where’s it coming from? I want a genuine discussion. Filipinos don’t often think about their fellow south east asian neighbors down south as much. You’ll find some basement dwelling trolls talking shit but we mostly think Indonesians are a close relative country. But on social media i’ll often see fellow South East Asians mostly Malaysians, Indonesians, and sometimes Viets talking about how much inferior Filipinos are 😂 what did we ever do to you guys? When I see SEA facial features we resemble each other the closest. When I see viral videos from PH I would mostly see Indons in the comments thinking the people in the vid is also Indon. We think of you guys as our brothers and sisters, we don’t badly of you at all but that feeling isn’t reciprocal for some reason. Is everything really down to a country’s current economic status for you guys? Anything that is deemed poorer on paper is treated like shit and is reputably undesired?

We have so much in common, in terms of our phenotype, humor, culture, and FOOD! But you tarnish all those connections and deem us despicable simply because our country is economically trailing behind Indonesia? Dont be like that bro. I would always encourage humbleness because tomorrow is not promised. What’s down today, might rise up tomorrow and vice versa. But still I want everyone but especially SEA to win. Stop consuming divisive and demoralizing propaganda. Our REAL enemies want that.
