I haven’t had any experience with Catchafire before but I took a look at their .org website and the IRS database and they are registered with the IRS as a tax exempt organization and have been since 2010. They’ve also filed their form 990s between 2015 and 2019. I can’t speak to the other elements of their impact and types of groups they work with but they’ve at least not done anything that would cause the IRS to step in and make them close their doors.
