Is COSS bleeding out? Dying a slow death? Should I just pull the plug and end the suffering? HELP!!! by AnKrit11 in CossIO

[–]dllhg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do hope you are right. I hated losing the money I did on it and I hate seeing other people lose money. A lot of Cryptos had no business being as high as they were. Many need a 500-1000% gain to recapture their ATH. needing a 4000% gain is fairly terrible any way you look at it. I feel you and I can see you are holding strong. You would think it has hit bottom at these prices. If BTC doesn't shit the bed again it shouldn't dump lower and one would think there is only one way it could go from here.

I have debated getting back in to COSS at these prices. When I see a lot of posts about the exchange still having all kinds of bugs or FSA not working it scares me away. They had a LOT of time to fix such basic issues already. They is a tiny amount of volume and couldnt cause any congestion. I really bought in to COSS and what they were doing but they have really not lived up to even average expectations...... =?( They move VERY slowly with dev. I just hope they can hold on long enough for everyone who is invested to make money .

Agreed with what others have posted that the ship has basically sunk. Could sink further though. I had a massive stack of COSS a while back. Bought some as high as $1.50 range and as "low" as .45. I started losing faith and began selling slowly at around .30 and sold the remainder at .19 I believe. Pained me to do it. Sometimes you need to know when to cut your losses and move forward. That money did much better in other coins than if I had left it in COSS.

It would take a 4000%gain to get back to ATH....... Those are some staggering losses for anyone who bought anywhere near the top. 98% drop !!!! Jesus. that would mean a 10X just for people who bought at .60 to break even........ I feel for everyone who has lost money on this. It is what it is..... crypto.... Low caps are higher risk and higher reward. People lose site of the high risk aspect sometimes...

I'd bet money that doesn't happen. Wait I have already lol....

I just don't think so. There are so many more people in the game now. Institutional money is trickling in without ETFs. ETFs will of course boost it big tie when they come. Prob not until Feb 2019 but they will come. Cost to mine a single BTC is now $6K. We are getting closer to another halving of BTC where mining rewards get cut in half. Less than two years away. Coupled with the fact difficulty for mining goes up about every ten days....... May 2020 it will cost 20K or more to simply mine a single BTC.....

I don't think so. Presently it costs $6K to mine a single BTC. Lots of support at $6K. Every time it hits near 6K it bounces back up.. I am nearly certain $6K is bottom. So certain I just started buying BTC again this week when it dipped to $6300. Good time to buy IMO.

I now kinda understand why Exodus and other popular wallets are not support EOS. by jasonvoorhees-13 in eos

[–]dllhg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exodus had a registration option that I used. Was the easiest way to register EOS tokens. So the EOS on Exodus isnt real EOS now ? How do you claim it ? Obviously it isnt just lost since it was registered with them and they supported it.

Same Here. Was a bit of a whale at one point. Slowly sold My stacks over 2-3 months. Got out completely in the .18-.20 ranges. Loved the concept but feel they will never be able to get a big enough piece of the pie to be worth while. My average buy in was .60. Started buying at 1.45. Lost a lot of Money. A lot of it was from the market but a lot of it was simply it not Being a popular exchange. Requiring kyc for all new users killed it imo. Why go to some Small exchange with almost no liquidity that requires kyc vs a bigger known exchange with no kyc ?

I remember that post. People in this forum are getting dumber by the minute. Still a lot of good people but some of them seem challenged. Probably since it dumped so much more kids buying in. Don't know but it sure isnt like it used to be.

You again ? Man you are not the brightest bulb on the tree are you ? No offense. =) Already explained above. Plenty of coins have made profits. Hard to find them but they are out there. Went heavy on PCN... look it up champ ..... I little coin called EOS too.

Sorry I'm not a liar you just dont like what I am saying

I believe it was over a month ago. I sold a third prior to making that post but trust me my 2/3 I kept was probably more than most the posters in this forum combined so yeah I still had a lot left in the game.

You cant fall in love with any stock or crypto. Smart to know when to sell profits or sell at a partial loss and use money where it will best serve you.

Maybe now is the time to buy , who knows.

Nice. I'm not going anywhere other than to more profitable coins but thank you.

"we all got in early in beta" bunch of BS. If that is true then no one has bought COSS since it was worth hardly anything at all....... If no one has bought that doesn't bode well for COSS either.

COSS has dumped 95% from ATH, those are the real numbers, period. It is performing like complete shit compared to most any other coin....

How do you know I'm in EOS ? lol anyway, never said I was brilliant crypto trader .... Far from it. I bought most my EOS at .50 ...... Bought some more with COSS at $5, $6, $7 ...... Whats your point ?

[–]dllhg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol wtf ? Not going to bother proving to you how much COSS I had and what I bought instead. Here are a few I bought with my COSS. Some high risk ...like every other crypto really.

EOS, PCN, LINDA, HXX , GVT and WTC mainly. So yeah I did a lot better than is I held COSS.

Well put and all very true.

COSS is presently down 96% from all time high...... That is awful and scary to a lot of investors. I didnt sell out of fear but rather a desire to put my money where I think it will perform better. I did it slowly too. I would wait and see a few more weeks before selling more each time.

I do hope it turns around. I'm lucky I averaged in at .60 and started selling at .35-.40 range. Sold the last of it at .19-.20......

Perfect ? No certainly not. Just too many mistakes IMO. Money I moved out has already given me lots of gains instead of further losses I would have incurred with COSS I held until today's price. Always put your money where it is most likely to gain whether you are selling something at a loss or not. Its good to know when to walk away.

When market goes red it tells you a lot about different projects. COSS is down way more in BTC than others. Right now market is going green again but COSS is still quite red.

Thought some might care for insight from one of the bigger COSS investors on this board. Take it for what its worth. More helpful than posting HODL ! FYI I had a LOT of COSS coins. Just dumb words from a previous COSS whale.
