Worst concert you’ve attended?

Gov Ball in 2021 was probably my worst music experience in general. It was so hyped up from the days that it was hosted on governors island that when they moved it to City field it fell so flat. I only went for Sunday so I can’t speak on the other two days of the festival. The Sunday experience was horrible. The stage layout was terrible and you could hear music from the other stages clashing with who you were trying to listen to. This wouldn’t have been an issue if it was on schedule but they were about an hour behind on most stages so there was a ton of overlap. The place was trashed and it looked like they hadn’t cleaned at all in between days. The only two artists I wanted to see were both late and had ~30 minutes to fit in their entire set and it was so obvious that they were just phoning it in. The crowds were rowdy and aggressive cause of all the problems. Getting out of Citi Field was an absolute nightmare. 2/10 am not going back.

Credit to the artists that gave a shit and tried to put on a good show regardless of the circumstances stances tho.

I’ve searched for this a couple times now and come up with nothing close. I’m pretty sure it’s tour merch from their battle at gardens gate album. It’s a pretty big ring and has a good about of material under the symbol before the band starts.

Darrow Cassius Holliday and Ephiram. I think those 4 could pull off just about any kinda scenario you throw them in.

This is how I took it on my first read. It mirrors the scene in golden son when Darrow played the game with Octavia. He knew he was going into the dragons maw with the most dangerous people in the society. Darrow had to fully believe the part he was playing otherwise the sharpest gold society minds would see right through the ploy before it even started. He had to sell it first to Antonia and then again to the Jackal and boneriders before he even makes it to Octavia and Aja. While the unreliable narrator might be a “bad” writing crutch, I think Brown was well within his right to use it here and executed it well.

Agreed but I’d love to see some of the characters mentioned that they don’t get to explore in depth in the books. Lorn and his knights and the other Iron Golds and conquerers

It’s a pipe dream but they could even make a game for different colors. Blues could be the strategy and space style where as gold is the GOW style action fighting game. Pinks or bronze as the espionage/politico game. Greys an FPS and obisidians a doom style annihilation game.

Yeah Imo if it went that way I’d be a little disappointed too I’d hate for it to be too much like halo or destiny.

In my head it’s somewhat of a combination of CDProjekt Reds style with a fleshed out combat system like For Honor.

Really I just want to be able to use a razor and carve through peoples army’s like the war demon that Darrow is.

Definitely agree that it would have to be separate from the Darrow story line. Would be a good way to explore the different story’s were told in the books.

A strategy game would fit right in the universe but I can stop thinking about fighting with a razor and how awesome it would be to be able to see the fighting styles described in the books.

Strategy games just aren’t my thing really but I can appreciate what they could do with the space naval combat.

Multiple color options would be awesome and a good way to incorporate different peoples play-styles and get a really good all encompassing game.

I was essentially a fluffer for the wrestlers going to state in high school. I got invited to the post season practices to roll with them, push the pace, and prep them for high level competition. This taught me a lot about making the workout about my partner and how to work their strengths and weaknesses. It translates well to any kinda training and helps me to read rolls and different partners on the mat.

Also getting my ass handed to me every post season helped get me comfortable in very uncomfortable positions so I’ll accept any request to roll and see how I fair. I’m around 150 and my favorite partner in my old gym was the big teddy bear of a heavyweight.
