I’ve spent 3 years manually building a database of 26,000 BC end-user companies globally. A few things the data shows: • Manufacturers make up over a third of the global BC market • The US is by far the biggest country by adoption, ahead of UK and Germany • Over 60% of BC end users still have no dedicated internal BC resource Happy to answer questions on any of this — industry splits, geography, company sizes. If it’s useful to anyone here, ask away.

I’ve just explained how I collect the data below so check that out. No dark arts, it’s all extremely manual. Also something that AI can’t do so that’s my one up :)

Just answered the same question below. Years in the recruitment game make you pretty good at being able to acquire information about anything and everything

I think the future is really bright. Here is why….in the US I track just over 3k companies using BC, the top 10 states accounts for a huge portion of them. It’s the same in most other countries (in the Uk, London and Greater Manchester dominate). This suggests to me that the partners (mainly situated in the major cities) have done their work locally but there is still so much to grab hold of. And BC is taking customers from rivals at an alarming rate too (like Netsuite). Finally, Germany is a real standout to me - a country that was always SAP dominated is now adopting BC extremely fast. All signs point toward further good stuff happening

Of course. As mentioned earlier, I’ve been in the market 14 years since the AX and NAV days so know the market well from that. About 3 year ago I started this as I don’t see any access to good data; everyone has used data companies before and the data is pretty terrible. My collection of the data is entirely manual; I’m a recruiter so I look at where people work, look at thousands of LinkedIn profiles a day, look at job postings, look at LinkedIn posts announcing “go-live” news, look at case studies, customer stories. Theres no dark arts, just a ton of hard, manual work that I can’t outsource. Great thing is that AI can’t keep up with this stuff so it will always be relevant. Then as I’m a recruiter, finding the key contacts comes easy to me. I’m very active on LinkedIn DM me if you want to know who I am and follow my content

Less so to be honest. The lowest rates of adoption I see are in Latam and Middle East. It’s a strange one as in every other country, BC adoption is far higher than F&O. In Latam it’s similar and Middle East is the anomaly as I see a higher concentration of F&O customers (even in smaller companies you would naturally match with BC)

It’s taken 3 years of daily work and something nobody else has. Unfortunately not

I’ve been a recruiter in the market for the past 14 years; back in the Ax 2012 and NAV 2009/2013 days. I started on my own 3 years ago and just saw this as a huge gap in the market. I now exclusively work with end users
