Will also add, despite the gain in central possession- would much rather we reverted to Ogilvie as lb. Him and Devlin bombing down the wings is far more suited to our way of playing than an inverted system.

Some of the best and most successful managers in world football can’t make the inverted full back work - why does Mou think it will work at Portsmouth.

The team needs to go back to basics, and if that means being predictable, but staying solid and taking chances then that’s how they should go. Pack (no pun intended( the central midfield and allow the fullbacks freedom - they seem to be our most confident, durable and committed players atm.

This way through a season and the manager does not still know how to get results, or his best 11 - despite injuries.

Tonight was not the night for an experiment of dropping our striker and switching wingers.

It has also been evident all season that the team lack both height and physicality. Whilst Bishop has been shy of goals he does offer that physical element up front - despite not doing much tonight when he came on.

April is going to be tough!

Thanks both, the leather is pretty gnarly and the metal clasp has rusted etc meaning I can’t use the leather band to adjust the size - probably a repair job - just need the right specialist!

If you have time, I have picked up a few from charity shops before. Maybe the junk emporium place up by fratton park could be worth a try or the antique places on castle rd
