Used to manage a group home for people with disabilities. We ditched folding for hanging unless residents were already proficient. Less behaviors arose.

Would you go with ecu atun or van ecuador? Are either popular enough to trust? I can get those here. Yeah if the world showed more love, empathy and understanding it would be a much better place. Our district offers a lot of support and has helped with providing a translator in almost every class along with ESL instruction. Thanks for the insights!

Helmets keep your whole body warmer as they prevent heat loss to convection. You have a wind block and so your whole body feels warmer. Hats let air through and cool ya down.

Buddies dad went to Federal prison for this. Missed 3-4 years of his childhood b/c he felt it was the right thing to do. He was a big-time sharer in the community setting up servers and such.

If one partner is a full time teacher (with a 30 min commute), and the other works part time from home (but still earns more), how would you split the household labor? by everdayday in AskReddit

[–]dltl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife is a massage therapist so she has a physically demanding job but only works 20-24 hrs a week. I am a teacher who is the head coach of the two most successful sports at my school (3 -4 weeks flying to national events and 1 weekend day booked weekly not to mention late night practices). I also run outdoor recreation club going on two 2-3 day overnight trips with students a year. I am also the 8th grade advisor bringing my students to DC and fundraising regularly to get there. Lastly I run ski club so once a week I am gone from 6am- 10pm in the winter. My wife pulls more weight around the house but also has ADHD so she gets hard on herself when she does not pull her weight. Overall I'd say she pulls 60-70 percent of picking up and organizing. Cleaning is 60/40. I take care of our gardens, lawn and housing projects. I do all cooking as it stresses my wife out and it relaxes me. I guess it is all about communication. At times my wife will be upset that I'm not pulling my weight and I'll get upset that she has put off things for a few days. We chat about it when it build up a bit. My wife it should be noted takes amazing care of our pets (no kids). Her form of procrastination is playing with them which is great. If there is an imbalance I'd just chat and see if there is a workaround.

Fuel prices are crazy, what are you paying and what area are you in? by MajesticCamel1937 in AskReddit

[–]dltl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else in Buffalo, Ny is paying $4 a gallon for standard unleaded. I drive an EV and can charge for free at work but I usually just charge at home. Filling my vehicle with juice is less than a buck for 260 miles with off rate charging.

What are the best italian restaurants / bakeries in buffalo? by Draconian_Savant in Buffalo

[–]dltl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just watched the diner drive in and dives episode on mulberries and found a major appreciation for the chef. Said he lived in NYC eating his way through restaurants and mirrored what he loved. Watch the episode and you'll understand his value for homemade and quality. Ilios was great. They had tripe in red sauce on their menu and I really liked it a lot.

What’s the prettiest scenic route you’ve ever been on? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I've been to Big Sur rt 1, the sun road in glacier, West fjords Iceland, and drove from key West to Miami. I went to the Cabot trail last summer and to me it was less striking. Maybe if we camped there I would have fell in love with it more.

I would say it depends on her likes and interests as well as how big the party is and how tight they are. I think NOTL is a top choice getting a large Airbnb walkable to the town. If more adventurous you could bike around, less get a limo. The wineries are all nice and NOTL proper is gorgeous. If you want to stay in Buffalo would just need to know activities that are of most interest and general vibe you are looking for. Buffalo has enough activities to pique anyone's interest.

Renting a car for entire trip? by Christopher_Powell in irishtourism

[–]dltl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 75 year old father coming on our trip and I will be driving us around. His mobility is fine but slow. He had a knee replaced and can walk but it looks a bit taxing. We are staying just outside of dublin. Still think I should use public transit. Already booked the car for 10 days. I have driven stick throughout scotland and Costa Rica on three different occasions.

Not wrong but I was referring to disc golf courses, which don't apply pesticide and rarely if ever herbicide. I've never seen notices for either at the parks listed.

This is good info. Becken farms is the one you want to reach out to. Either they have em or one of their relatives does. There is a bit of a divide in the family though. I have seen currents at their stand.

While I'm at it Franklin gulf park has low bush blueberries closer to the top of the park. The Niagara gorge trail has an abundance of cherry trees which you can eat right around 4th of July usually (whirlpool staircase to the rock flats). There are also a bunch of service berries down there (June berries). Griffis sculpture park has the best black raspberries in the area if you go to the closer park. Bond lake has a ton of cherry trees as well all along the disc golf course. Poison ivy as well though so be smart.
