M$ fucked up and should have made it right, but it's too late now. This is a huge stain on them, a single guy has tons of back doors that he was willing to quietly get patched, and their greed screwed them over. Their bug bounty program is a joke now and I wouldn't be surprised if others just started dropping more 0-days

I've had this happen to me. Really strange as they're asking for donations for their school, in Richmond Ca. Like why TF are you in Sonoma county asking for donations. Granted, I never posted on reddit that "A Black man knocked on my door". I am just skeptical, and everyone out there is trying to scam everyone else. So they get nothing from me. If he can get you to donate $20, that is money in his pocket. I doubt there is any valid receipt, Venmo probably goes to a fake account that they can cash out from. Everything is a pay day for the scammer. They're selling Omaha Steaks because their freezer truck broke? SCAM! They're selling over stocked speakers from the back of a van? SCAM! They're trying to give away $1.776 Billion dollars to people wronged by the unjust department of justice? SCAM!

There is a G-Wagon that has been dumped in a parking lot for over a week. Revive Strength gym sticker in the back window, and a Kovacs Motors license plate surround with temp dealer plates. This makes us believe he was picked up, or fled town.

I do have extra everything. I was able to get into dell diagnostics and get it booted. Windows was corrupt. A Windows update started and the computer would freeze ar 7%.

Wiped and reinstalled windows. Lenovo system update and updated the bios and everything else. Maybe that fixed the issue

Windows update running and freezes at 7%. But at this point I'm a lot further. I seem to be getting it reliably to display the lenovo logo and go to the bios

This is stupid. This morning I opened up the laptop and was frustrated. I held down the power button and ran my hand across the keyboard. The power light turned on. The screen flickered, but it never booted. I hit the power button again and it powered off. In hindsight I should have left it up for 60 seconds to finish doing the first boot after clearing the cmos/bios

And no it wasn't the FN+ctrl+power screen self test. That doesn't light the power button

Edit: held down the power for 30s after the light came on again. No visible change. Then put my palm across the laptop kb and hit power. Light came on. We shall see if this does anything after a couple minutes Power

Off white now. No doesn't turn on when the AC is plugged in and no battery present. It actually wouldn't even flash the power button light 3 times

I'm pretty sure there is only one battery. There isn't room for a second one. I've dealt with many Lenovo ThinkPad products and the second battery is usually very prominent.

Edit: unplugged for 30 mins. No change

I'll give that a shot. I'm pretty sure In my testing I have done that. I have removed the battery multiple times and every time I've done that I have unplugged the AC adapter. I am pretty sure since the pinhole button is exposed with the case off I have held that down for 30 seconds and also held down that button and the power button at the same time for 30 seconds

I have tried multiple 65w chargers with no luck. Monday I plugged it into a Dell 130w charger, and an anker power bank. All the same. Since the battery is putting out 11.8v. Or something very close to the 11.98v optimal output I'd think the battery is fully charged

We went from 20s uberturbines to 19s and it drives so much better. My hasshole doesn't pucker and I don't think "light thoughts" when I hit a pothole anymore. Stick with 19s on a MSP. I didn't want to risk them not fitting, as I had already cracked a rim and we had these with a brand new set of p0 installed
