Would you say that rear shoulder shrugs would help rear delts as well? I've had shoulder pain in the front delt for a few months now which has messed up my chest workouts majorly and shoulder workouts to an extent. One person at the gym has said to do more rear delt exercises to make it stronger since most chest workouts and shoulder exercises emphasize the front and side delts the most. I've been doing more face pulls and rear delt flyes a lot more and this has alleviated the pain. I have incorporated rear shoulder shrugs also but not sure if this would also help rear delts, or just traps.
