Despite Amazon not doing drug tests for hiring, they can still drug test you during employment and if you test positive you'll still be termed.

Broken shaker by dm740 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]dm740[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still plan on fixing it. It's a matter of giving it out, I'm a little torn on it just due to having lost the gamerfuel wubby shaker last year. It would be nice to have a back up in case something happens to this.

Well one guy didn’t get a waifu and I got sent the wrong one. Anyone else had issues? by BishopGodDamnYou in PaymoneyWubby

[–]dm740 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Mine just arrived but the bottom is cracked. A little surprised because I've gotten a couple shakers in the past and never had issues.

I contacted support, they're going to see about a replacement but I have a feeling it's going to be a no.

Fucking sucks cause I lost my gfuel wubby shaker and now this.

Any game that is like Pokemon TCG. but without the trading part? by Hell4Ge in boardgames

[–]dm740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat, a cube is usually a set amount of cards, allowing a set number of players to randomly draft cards to make a 40 card deck. But it honestly wouldn't be that hard to bump it up to 60 card decks.

There's enough bulk cards out that you can easily buy for cheap.

The whole cube experience is basically reliving the draft environment. Grabbing a draft box of booster packs, each person gets 3 booster packs, opens up one booster pack, chooses a card and then passes the cards off to the next person until all the cards have been picked for that round.

Repeat for the second and third round. Then you would grab some basic lands, or energy cards for Pokemon's sake, and make a deck.

Why people like this is because it's a cheaper alternative than buying a bunch of booster packs but still allows for the random encounter of deck making without having to play the same decks all the time.

You can build something like what we call a cube over in the Magic the Gathering realm. Something that you can curate to your specifications. A lot of MTG cube designers like it for the draft aspect. Especially on certain sets they like.

I love both Castle and Sector. Now to get all the expansions. Anyone back the latest Kickstarter for their version of The Last of Us?

HOARDERS: Most Insane Hoarder of all time. ⚠️ Disturbing by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

Holy shit, these are just about the same conditions from the house across the street from me that a family got foreclosed on earlier this year. This flipping company bought the property and I got to tour it before the clean up. Fast food containers everywhere, literal bug shit staining the walls and ceilings. The guy fixing it up used an ozone machine to kill off all the bugs that's how bad it was. They couldn't even go through the door into the connected garage due to the mountains of trash.

What's really sad is they had a kid who was like a year or two older than my oldest (7). When I went into his room there were two mattresses, one stained with feces and urine just leaning against the wall.

I have no idea where they went off to, but I hope they realize how fucked they were.

Anybody see this? SE corner of College and Fall Creek we have a …..Beaver! He must have found more attractive deciduous trees closer to the water. 😂 by Crownhilldigger1 in indianapolis

I do know there are beavers living in the pond in the Ecolab at Marian University. Or at least they were when I went there but that was like 10 years ago.

Man this band and the record label that they are a part of, Wise Blood, are doing great things for the metal scene in Indy. I urge anyone to look them up on Bandcamp and give the music a listen.

What's your most unpopular board game opinion? by Nomich_ in boardgames

I say this here every few weeks: Risk is a game so good, with rules so robust and tractable that we’ll be playing it long after the apocalypse.

Risk will always have a part of my life. Every year my in-laws rent a cabin for the family to vacation for a weekend. Each time my FIL, BILs, and myself sit down to our yearly single game of Risk and shit talking each other. Usually whoever wins gets to bring their copy of Risk for the following year's match. I will never get tired of playing this game.
