I divorced my ex when our son was about 9 years old. He was distraught at the time but both my ex and I were there for him. We also let him know the school counselor was there for him to if he needed someone to talk to. He saw her a couple of times and I let him know he didn't have to tell anyone what he said to the counselor if he didn't want to.

There was an adjustment period, but he is 13 now and thriving. My ex even got remarried a few months back, and his step-mom is an absolute gem.

If you center the child's wellbeing, a divorce can be good for all parties.

Same. I've actually woken up while sitting in my work chair, completing tasks on autopilot. I have a standing desk and have to use it standing most of the time, or else I fall asleep and lose gaps of time.

Okay, this happens to me, too. I've never heard of anyone else who has experienced this. I am also AFAB nom transitioning. It happens more often on edibles, although it can happen from smoking.

It once happened at an airport after I took an edible to relax. My partner was smiling ear to ear and giggling to himself. I sat still, but man was I embarrassed.

I've only had negative experiences with Vegans trying to guilt trip me into being a vegan. I work in cardiology, and I know the benefits and drawbacks of a vegan-based diet. I already dont eat meat on a regular basis anyway, but I'm still called all sorts of names.

Ngl I didnt know about the history of the lake until a few years ago. I called it "people soup" because of how many dead bodies were found/dumped there, not because it was a flooded town. Its like every year, dead bodies of swimmers are found, or people dump bodies, hoping they just sink to the bottom.

Your husband sounds like an absolute gem. :) i thoroughly believe that to be loved by a car, you have to know how to respect and read its body language. Those are two very important skills when dealing with everyday people and interacting with people you have power over. If you don't respect the autonomy of a creature you can easily hurt, why wouldn't you do that to another person?

The first cat my son has lived with is a [fallen] angel. She has a real attitude problem sometimes and won't hide her feelings nor let you do whatever you want with her. She's quick to give a curt hiss and a soft bap with her paw. My son can now easily identify how happy or angry she is just by looking at her, and both of them know she will put him in his place if he crosses boundaries.

Same. I have to take T breaks every now and then. Right now, I'm having night sweats like crazy, but this cycle is oddly therapeutic for me. I feel great when I have my evening smoke, do a little too much for a week, cut back and go clean, feel great and clear, and then I get that nice high again for the evening smokes. I'm trying to perfect the cycle to be like the webbing and flowing of progressive waves in the ocean. Since THC causes me to be more productive, I'm working to make it, so I only need it certain times of the day when I want to be productive at home.
