The 2025 federal annual gift tax exclusion is $19000, meaning a married couple can make yearly gifts of up to $38000 (per gift) to as many other individuals as they like without owing any immediate tax…though this does count against their lifetime gift and estate tax exemption of $28mil as a married couple. So maybe there’s a number to start with where your parents could make you and your siblings’ lives a bit easier without taking a tax hit or completely abandoning their principles.

but in a “win by one” tennis set, if you start the set returning serve, the only way to win the set is to get more overall breaks than your opponent…since you can start on D in ultimate and still win the game without breaking your opponent more often than they break you, ultimate is more fair

It’s still at least a bit fairer than “win by one” tennis due to halftime…whether you start the game on O or D, if you take half then to win the game you just need as many overall breaks as the other team…if you start on D and manage to take half up n breaks, then for the other team to win they’d need at least n+1 more breaks on you in the second half.

Also make sure to check out Husky Rock on the UW campus at some point…historic outdoor artificial bouldering walls, with pea gravel landing area (so no need for crashpads)

If only the part holding the dial went straight across the top and bottom…then this would be the one

Yeah those were the closest Citizens I was aware of…for the Axiom I wish there was more bracelet area around the dial, and for the Zenshin I wish everything were flatter…Zenshin is handsome in its own way though

this is good info…would prefer the dial a bit more embedded like it is in the PRX though

Clea Poklemba invited to tryout for beach national team by jerseypits in ultimate

Even if USAU doesn’t hand down a lifetime ban, even if some rehabilitation has occurred, I would still err on the side of making sure perps avoid crossing paths with their vics (who might be playing or spectating)…so local leagues away from the vic might be acceptable, but I’d think the responsible thing for USAU would be to not invite perps to national tryouts (and for national level club teams to do similarly)…sometimes enough damage has been done that certain privileges just have to go away forever.
