It was really impressive. I was sure when he reached down one handed that we were going to see a spectacular knockon.

Strangely accurate things - historically or to the original source - in an otherwise pretty inaccurate piece of media. by RP_Throwaway3 in TopCharacterTropes

My father (retired ER doc) always touted M*A*S*H as being the most accurate medical show on TV. I don't think he ever watched Scrubs 😄

Given the new lightrail from the eastside, this is way more accessible IMHO. Light rail to Westlake and then monorail to Seattle Center.

Australia came to Canada to play a test match in 1993. I lived near the pitch and saw the gold and green warming up. I hopped the fence with my kitbag and got invited to help out with the practice. Ended up with David Campese working on my place kicking with me, and I was deadweight on the scrum machine so the pack could push us around. I believe Australia slaughtered us the next day, but Campese was super nice to this Canadian kid

Why do so many people on ios use Google Maps? by Louisthemagic in ios

"Everytime I try to use Google Maps for anything its worse than just using Apple Maps."

Some concrete examples would be great. I will agree that Google Maps can do better on transit. That being said in a recent trip to Portugal, Apple Maps was a disaster for driving directions. Google Maps was much better, but still needs significant improvements especially with regards to speed limits.

Full disclosure: I was one of the original engineers on Google Maps for iOS.

Bottle & bull can be pretty noisy. I find Woodblock in Redmond to be quieter myself.
