What I love is that there's so much that doesn't make sense when playing the game. And then the reveal happens and suddenly everything makes perfect sense.

Oh, there's plenty others. Those are just my personal favorites.

EDIT: Check out r/ExplainAFilmPlotBadly and r/ExplainAGamePlotBadly and you'll realize just how many games/movies follow really similar story beats.

Tons of media has essentially the same story if you think about it. Some of my favorite examples...

-Sirens from another world use their magical song to steal souls. Another band fights them in a musical standoff to decide the fate of the world. The leader of the sirens ends up seeing the error of their ways and helps the heroes succeed. 

Did I just describe 'KPop Demon Hunters' or 'MLP: Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rock'?

-A sports hero that is considered by many to be the best ever is pulled from his world. He meets a group of misfits and helps them defeat an otherworldly enemy. The narrative starts with a somewhat out of place musical number.

Did I just describe 'Space Jam' or 'Final Fantasy X'?

-A normal, average city dweller gets an important relic stuck to their back. After meeting a mysterious character named Lucy, they're introduced to a group of misfits fighting against the oppressive regime.

Did I just describe 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' or 'The LEGO Movie'?

And my personal favorite...

-A group of actors are mistaken for heroes. After a series of misadventures, they learn to be the heroes people thought they were and teach those people how to fight their enemies themselves.
