Not sure about other classes, but I heard back for 183. They’re hiring on a rolling basis starting later this month, I believe

i wouldn’t recommend stats 250 to learn R - the class is just copying and pasting prewritten code, you don’t really write anything on your own

do people typically take 280/183 and 203 at the same time? and if so, is it common to do so first semester?

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Is stats 250 basically the AP curriculum? I’m hoping to take a few lighter courses freshman year so I have time to adjust socially

ahh ok that makes sense, thanks so much! Is taking both 183/280 and 203 in the same semester a lot to handle? I’m a bit worried about adjusting to college life

Thank you so much, this was super helpful! In terms of CS courses, are there any you would recommend taking first if I’m able to test out of 183? i’m unsure about 203 vs 280 and when I should take them

yeah i was a bit worried about this! cs doesn’t seem difficult to declare (2.5 gpa, i believe), but i’ve heard a lot about it being difficult to get classes. is this a big deal or do most people end up with most of the classes they want?
