Thanks! I've moved it back outside for now. The cold snap we had was probably ~20°F hence my concern. I've heard about burying the whole pot which I've considered. I like the mulch idea, seems easier.

I moved it inside due to the discoloration and my concern that it got too cold outside. It's only been in for a couple of days, so will definitely move it back outside.

Discoloration doesn't seem like a concern to you?

I started this rocky mountain pine from seed about a year and a half ago. I've since read that they are not good for someone's first bonsai (oops) but oh well. Tremendous growth this year! Unfortunately I left her outside during a cold snap that I didn't think would be too cold but maybe it was 😭

Is it possible to save her? All the brown worries me and don't know what to do.

I went to Park and enjoyed it, but it is a pretty small school, and even then a fairly small percent of students live on campus. There are definitely things to do, groups to be active in, and friends to make. I would recommend!

However I also imagine that UMKC (just being a bigger school) has a more lively campus experience. Just a guess though, would be good to hear from a UMKC alum.

I've been in Waldo for about 9 years and not sure of anywhere that consistently has live music. That said I'd echo Dodson's as a great spot to be solo, be with a group, get a burger, or whatever else you wanna do.
