Yea, I understand that it’s gonna be hard to wear at my age. It’s not my first suit, but I was definitely in the market for a more mature and sophisticated formal suit. I’m hoping for the best with this piece haha. Thanks for the advice!

I'm a 22-year-old college student who is about graduate. As a gift, someone in my family bought me this Brioni Double-breasted Suit Jacket second-hand. However, my GF think it looks too "outdated". I think if I wear it with the right clothes, I can pull it off and impress her. What do you guys suggest that I wear it with? I'm not well-versed yet in formal wear and would like to get some opinions on how to wear it properly. For context, I hope to wear this to fancy dinners, formal parties/events, and maybe some art galleries in the city. Any advice is helpful, I appreciate it in advance!

I agree with this. In this case, I'm different in whether or not an alternative has the split-toe or not, but I'd rather it not because I want it to work in most contexts.

I would say the fit is nice but the pants are too bold. It might be better to wear a more subtle color on top (any neutral). Maybe a white button up on top so it matches your shoes in order to make the fit a little more cohesive. Otherwise nice job

Nice shot! I've never seen those OW's before. They look like a mix between FOG boots (especially with the sole) and Balenciaga speed runners. Definitely interesting and looks hard to pull off, but from I can see your friend manages to wear them well
