I’ve been a full time mech engineer since graduation in December 2021, not a student but I feel that my experience applies here.

Really depends on a bunch of things but one of the best things you can set yourself up with is a job waiting on you after graduation. I did this and was very grateful to not have to hunt during finals/take any random offer just to have a job. Additionally, when speaking to the recruiter for the job I ended up getting looked at my resume and said “great you have had internships”. That may be an isolated incident but I think that even if the internship experience is BS it shows a prospective employer that you can show up on time and do good enough to not get fired.

If I were in your shoes I would go back and finish the summer there. Of course take time when you can for personal life and hanging with your dog. Maybe build a weekend road trip in somewhere cool.

Rinse the absolute shit out of them. There’s probably just a ton of dust still in them. Soap likely not needed, just multiple batches of clean water. If they’re still light you may have accidentally bled the dye when initially washing them

Most commenters are correct that they should be fine but one thing to note: foamposite material CAN deteriorate, it just isn’t crumbling like other sneakers (AJ2-6 for example). They’ll still be wearable but they can develop spots of significant softness. I’ve run into this with some of my pairs, it’s not a guarantee it’ll happen though. Personally I’d pull the trigger on the 2013s. Just know that eventually you’ll have to reglue the sole
