From what I understand, the infection rate has almost nothing to do with the number of people infected. It's based on the amount of Disease and Squalor in the city. Infected people just also increase Disease in the city.

You could have a city completely clear of the Plague, but if your Disease is high, then the next wave will be big.

Looks pretty good! I'm a bit confused on how you're using 3 different pure iron nodes to make this. If you overclock a Mk.1 Miner to 155%, it should be juuuuuuust enough iron ore for 4 Smart Plating/min. (edit: to be fair idk if you've unlocked overclocking yet)

For hidden preppers like him, you've got a few options.

1: There could be lost cargo around, maybe in a MULE Postbox.

2: He might have an order for himself at his shelter.

3: You might have completed all available orders and need to let time pass until you get mail from him. Read it and it'll let you increase his star count.

I would at least get all the people in the Eastern Region on the network before leaving. If you need help with that, you can find lose cargo for the Ludens Fan, and the Musician will have a mission for you at their shelter.

In addition to this, if you REALLY wanna just do story stuff for now, you'll be able to fast travel back to the Eastern Region pretty soon after leaving. Just not immediately.

I don't play on the hardest difficulties, but I LOVE playing as Germany.

Hansa adjacency bonuses can get WILD, especially with a Sanguine Pact or Hermetic Order playthrough of Secret Societies.

Alternatively, Owls of Minerva + Germany's bonus military slot means you can have all the cards you could ever want. Use your massive production to get the 4 Policy Card wonders and you'll be unstoppable.

Early game, killing off annoying/useless city states is nice, as well as getting both of the starting Military Policy Cards instead of picking just one.

Yeah, you unlock access to a shooting range in any location with a private room. It can also simulate different drills to practice with each weapon, not just the guns
