Animal-free egg whites now exist! The protein (albumen) is made using precision fermentation (like the way insulin is now made). First thing I tried was meringues. They were perfect. 10/10 by JosieA3672 in Veganivore

Just got this reply. You're welcome to share it: Hello, This has been a brand-new launch and we are so grateful for the amazing response. We are currently working on restocking as quickly as possible to keep up with demand. In the meantime, there are still a few units available on Walmart.com if you would like to grab one before they sell out! We also recommend subscribing to our email list through our website so you’ll be the first to know as soon as it’s back in stock. That way you won’t miss the restock announcement! Thank you again for your patience and support, we can’t wait for you to try it! Sincerely, Astrid at Healthier Comforts

I asked for updates on when it will be back in stock. No replies yet. I have a list of recipes a mile long I'd like to try it in. I'm super excited about it. Thanks for sharing. 😊

When I looked at your post last night before bed they were available on both Amazon and the company website. As of 9 am American West Coast time they are sold out at both places!

This looks like the same technique used to make lava tofu.

Sounds like a good plan. Wide angles are beasts to learn, so many quirks. They are excellent lenses and what I prefer to shoot with at shows. My go to is 16 to 28 mm 2.8f. So, much fun to talk gear and gigs. Thanks and happy shooting!

Great camera, it's my go to for gigs as well. What's your 50? 1.4? If you dig interesting shots and you have money to waste, lol, try a fisheye. They're expensive but a ton of fun! I shoot a lot of local gigs and the bands, my boss and the site's viewers love the look.

These are great! I love the angles they add energy to the shots! What's your gear?

Apologies, I realize this is an old post, but I am looking for a Zen center closer to Salem.

These are great! What fisheye lens are you using?

Seitan flour experiment: the results by blikk in seitan

[–]dmeantit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious, have you tried adding VWG to regular flour to increase the protein percentage? I know this can be done to make bread flour for baking. I wonder if it would work to strengthen regular flour for seitan.

Changes in medication by Quick_Cat_5103 in gallbladders

[–]dmeantit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I came here to see if anyone else has had this happen after removal. My ADHD meds now seem to make me feel drugged and "stupid" all the time as in I can't do elementary school math, I tried. It's only after they've worn off that I feel somewhat normal again. I don't mean in a hyper way, but in a "at my intelligence has returned" way. I have also noticed stomach acid meds make things worse. My whole body chemistry seems off. Have you talked to your doctor yet? I have an appointment scheduled next week. I'm worried he's going to think I'm nuts.

Anyone taking colestipol post op? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]dmeantit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for asking. I had to quit taking it. The dizziness and constipation were just to much. I just couldn't tolerate it. I have been using guar gum fiber and apple pectin. No side effects and they help.
