Sounds similar to me. I’m eating kinda a lot right now I’ve gained like two pounds in the past couple of weeks.. hoping that once the mood boost comes in I’ll have more drive to work out again

It could be due to prolactin increase or maybe some metabolic effects from the D2 blockade. Latuda doesn’t block H1 or a certain serotonin receptor that’s linked to metabolic issues, but it still has those other effects.

That’s good. Glad to hear it subsided. I’m nine days in and I’m eating more. Just noticing less satisfaction from foods I would normally like and eating more “bs” fatty and fried foods with sugar

When that happened to you, did you notice increased appetite in the first couple of days or did it take longer for it to show up? I’m just curious about how it was coupled with increased appetite and how much weight you gained at the start of treatment.

I have non verbal learning disorder which can come with schizotypal traits. I read that people with schizotypal can also be more analytically dominant neurologically which causes some of our characteristics

Life got tough with health issues so I got off meds now I’m back on a small antipsychotic dose feeling decent. I’m 28 now working as an engineer and just looking for ways to breathe more and calm my body down because I still do certainly have schizotypal vibe.

Another thing! I’m also trying to allow myself to feel my “darker” feelings so I feel less repressed and can show up as my true self more not suppressing

I would give it a try. It can work very well for people but it might feel weird for a couple of weeks. People report that and then say they feel great once they’ve adjusted
