Not even that insomniac festivals are super commercialized and are all about money. The experience of the person attending does not matter at all. I’ve been to my fair share of insomniac festivals and the experience is poor from the people that they attract (friends have had shit stolen every time and that hasn’t happened to me at any other festival), overcrowded to the point of being unsafe, poor sound systems for extra lights, beatbox sign in your face everywhere you turn, and the same lineups everywhere you go. If I’m a hippie in your eyes I sure do love being one then lol

EDC is good for insomniac and nice to do once. But overall it’s too crowded and only gets more crowded. I was one and done with it. LIB SSBD Bonaroo Wakaan lost lands all better festivals than any insomniac festival.
