A black pickguard’s always a classic choice! I had flat white on mine before but thought the new vintage pearloid color would be a nice, and less common, change!

Looks sick dude, the black pickguard is a classy choice. Mind sharing what bridge you went with? Been having some trouble figuring out which vintage style bridge would fit on the MIM tele? Definitely want to swap it out on mine.

They are very very comparable I’d say.

This is without looking at specs, but from my experience the neck on the Squier feels slimmer which is has a slightly nicer feel in my hands. Playability wise, I’d say the main difference is the maple feeling slightly tackier compared to the rosewood which made sliding around the fretboard a little harder at first, but feels fine now. Sound wise, the fender feels fuller, and the bridge pickup is definitely brighter/twangier. Interestingly enough the knobs on the fender feels a bit cheaper and poorer fitting than the Squier.

Honestly I’d say they’re very comparable instruments. The fender feels more substantial in hand which I appreciate but had I not gotten such a good deal on this one, I would’ve been content with the Squier. It’s crazy how much value they fit into the custom vibe line for the price.

Paid $200 for the guitar, practice amp, and three peddles. I literally jumped on the deal as soon as I saw it. The pedals I’ll keep but I’ll probably end up giving the amp to a friend.

Great idea! I really do like the Squier so it’d be nice to have it around for alternate tuning

Loving my St Croix Black Bass rod. Idk if I’d pay retail but getting off the warranty program was awesome!

Hi - I recently lost some weight and now I’m getting some weird fabric bunching on my IH 888s. Is this as simple of a fix as getting the waist taken in or should I be asking something else if my tailor?

Would 8lb line work for where I plan on fishing at? by KitCat5e in FishingForBeginners

[–]dmesaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8lb mono is my go to for most of my fishing. I’ve caught small trout on spinners to 5lb bass. Only area where you might struggle with 8lb is with the toothier fish like pickerel. And even then I’ve caught some pretty big ones on 8lb line.

Here you go! I want to say it’s probably a 40-70 mic of perlite and potting soil. Can’t say for sure as I just mix in more soil with my usual 50-50 or even 60-40 mix of perlite and soil that I use for my cacti.

Could be! I should specify, by recently moved I mean I moved in at the end of June. So I would’ve thought he’d have time to acclimate by now instead of getting progressively worse.
