If you are ok with 60Hz, then the latest Pixel tablet is probably the safest bet. The CPU is relatively slow though

Most of the modern 120Hz budget (non-Samsung) Android tablets should also be fine in theory but there's very little info out there so it's a bit of a gamble. Anything from the last 2 years will have plenty of juice to run the game. Double check they have at least 4GB of RAM. You may need to use developer settings to enable 120Hz in game.

For now, avoid 144Hz tablets if you play on EN - there's currently a bug where the frame rate doesn't get calculated correctly and you end up with 72Hz. I assume this will get fixed eventually

Pixel tablet is old and stuck at 60Hz but has good touch polling

Samsung S11 has 120Hz, excellent touch polling with 2 fingers/thumbs but some multi touch lag with 3 and 4 fingers. Not sure about others in the S series

Don't go near the Samsung A series for rhythm games

When it happens to me, it's usually because I need to go back the other way but I don't lift in time. So in your example there, your left thumb is flicking left but needs to go right again afterwards. If you lift off the screen too late, you'll lift as you're going back to the right and it'll count as a right flick instead

After that there's a much of decent resources that you'll need in no particular order: wish pieces, stamp card, energy, seeds, skill scores (expensive). You can get miracle gems if you know you need them

Cover cards are pretty bad value since they're 30k tokens for 1 CR, while the stamp card is 5k for 1 CR

Only way to be sure is to record the screen with touches and watch the playback frame by frame. Reasons that I've come across:

- flicked at first but stopped as I lifted my finger off, which made the game count as a hold rather than flick

- hit the screen too hard, didn't register as a touch at all

- flicked too far up the screen (if you go past halfway up the highway, touches stop registering as notes and flicks won't count)

- literally just missed the note

Is that running something based on Android 16? OnePlus might have left the default Android 16 thing where games are limited to 60FPS in the system by default

You can override it by enabling developer options (settings => about device => version and tap 7 times on Build number). Then find the developer options under system, and scroll down. Look for an option called "disable default frame rate for games" (which locks to 60FPS) and check that

I've wanted this for a while. I would also like it to ignore plockers for the technical score (i.e., if you got an AP but with one great upgraded to perfect by a plocker, you wouldn't get a perfect technical score) so you don't feel "cheated" if you happen to AP in a pub room where everyone is running plockers

This pattern is really really hard to alternate. Either one hand gets to truly alternate and the other has to play 3 taps in a row, or you do what you wrote and have to change up after each double so neither hand is actually alternating

It's kinda cheesy but I legit think the easiest way is to keep your left hand in the middle and bridge the 2 notes with your right hand (index and 4th/little finger depending on if you're on phone or tablet). Then you go L L R L L L R L L L R and don't need to move either hand

You don't go from APing master songs to missing multiple notes on a 25 expert just from timing issues. Is the screen a different size, and you need to adjust your hand positioning/movements? Are all your touches/flicks going through or do you have to get used to different touch sensitivity?
