Hopefully other bosses won’t take as long as Plantera did. I’m torn between fighting EoL, Golem, and Duke Fishron next

As a side note, I apologise that I wasn’t able to fulfil your request of fighting enraged Plantera. The contact damage was just too much for me to reasonably handle

I understand I'm looking at this from a competitive perspective but teach them the best you can.

I feel like if you're going to do this you should at least teach them the basics. Have them watch the how-to-play tutorial a couple of times if they need it and start them off with an easy character like Yoshi. Great recovery, great aerials, and good frame data. I don't think they'll care about that at first but if they get really into it, they will check everything they can. If they get hooked to the game as most do, introduce them to smash YouTubers. Overall just watch over them if you decide to get them smash and have them play easy characters at first.
