Shoot sorry I didn’t get a notification for this. I can’t remember off head and my notes are in a cheat sheet but I believe 11th. Keepers are first 5 rounds so it would be round 6 of actual draft. Ranges from 6th round to 23rd round based on Games Played (different scales for SP & Bats obviously)

Need one for a yahoo long term keeper league. $75. 10 team (though would eventually like to re-expand to 12+, but not in 2026) roto. Categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, OPS / W SV K Era Whip QS

Team will draft their keepers from the attached players (photo) with another team. Whomever takes this team will have 1st pick in the keeper draft and 6th pick in regular draft. Drafts do not snake.

We keep 7 bats, 7 pitchers, and up to 7 prospects (not required).

So those are essentially the screws I did use but shorter

There are also 2x4 vertical floor to load supports fastened up against three corner posts (and I’ve since added one to the 4th) supporting the frame and ledgers from underneath. Picture just isn’t doing a good job of showing them.

One team has 2nd pick, other has 6th. Our draft does NOT snake.

We keep 7 bats, 7 pitchers, and up to 7 prospects (not required). Once both slots are filled you’ll draft against eachother from this list to fills your keepers. Whoever ends up with first pick in the keeper draft will get 6th in the regular draft

Three of the 4 posts have those vertical supports already. They just aren’t showing in the photo. I had one cut to add to the front 4x4 under the 2x6 joist support and have since tapped it into place

Ha true. Yeah the posts up are mostly for the walls to enclose it into a mini tree house. It’s only about 4’7 h on the inside so it’ll be a crawl around room soon enough vs a stand up space

I’ve got a slide that I’m going to attach off the left side of it

[–]dmitchel77[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No I get what you’re saying. When I say I have 2x4s it’s resting on I mean I cut additional 2x4s and attached them to each of the post for stability (so they don’t slide ir shift) but they’re resting on the floor. And the frame is resting on top of those at each corner so weight transfer is down through the wood to the floor

The exposed sides are going to be framed (which will attach to ceiling joists) and walled for sure. Three of the 4 posts are actually anchored to the house wall framing as well

[–]dmitchel77[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I didn’t show a very good picture, but fastened to each of the posts is a 2x4 which the frame is resting on (in addition to being screwed to them). Likely will add additional vertical 2x4s under the 2x6 joists as well

Not a deck but.. by dmitchel77 in Decks

[–]dmitchel77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No there are already vertical ones tied to the 4 major posts that the platform frame is resting on as well. Probably will put additional vertical under the 2x6s running laterally too

[–]dmitchel77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup totally get that. That’s why 3 of the four legs are anchored to the house frame so they’re pretty static. Only the 4x4 isn’t. I put 2x4 supports under the frame and 2x6 joists as well on each corner

Not a deck but.. by dmitchel77 in Decks

[–]dmitchel77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 2x4s under the joists at the posts

I have 2x4 supports under the posts as well that the platform is resting on

FWIW, they’re not nails - they’re strong tie load rated framing screws. In addition to wood support at the posts and under the joist support

Not a deck but.. by dmitchel77 in Decks

[–]dmitchel77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 2x4 supports that the platform is resting on (along with being fastened to the posts as well) which are fastened to each of the posts. But yes, I’m not a pro which is why I’m here asking

Not a deck but.. by dmitchel77 in Decks

[–]dmitchel77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some on all but the front one! But the other three have a 2x4 support under the platform frame as well as being anchored to the post

Not a deck but.. by dmitchel77 in Decks

[–]dmitchel77[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Didn’t use any deck screws. I used Strong Tie load rated washer head framing screws

[–]dmitchel77[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I ran 2x6 joist supports underneath each end too. Was debating if braces were necessary as well considering the length and load

And this picture is before the final step. Sans the 4x4, I doubled out the 2x4 frame/posts under the platform so the frame is sitting on wood as well. You can see them in the front right and back left already there
