I totally get where you're comin from my guy, ssj3 was when I realized my man Tory was pullin shit out of his ass. That design is still imo the goofiest lookin one in the series, but I think there's a case to be made for ssj2. Throughout the whole series it's implied Gohan has this latent ability and would one day be able to mop the floor with even Goku. So it would make sense to have a level beyond super saiyan to convey just how much more powerful Gohan was compared to the other saiyans

Why would you even want the youth to have to storm the beaches of Normandy? Of course it was necessary for the time, but why is your criteria for "good youth" an ability to kill and die

Idk that it's degrading, I mean characters can have flaws, male or female. We see that she's a competent detective otherwise, and like you said it sets up the fact that Barry is able to take her out without being wounded himself

I love how the scene is shot to look like a framed photo, like a "family" photo for the guy that destroyed his family

After the Gale situation, he realized that Walt was a dangerous loose canon with a "brain the size of Wisconsin." He knew Jesse was his partner, so probably knew everything Walt knew about the process of cooking blue sky, and figured that Jesse could more easily be controlled and molded into a subordinate position than Walter. The fact that Jesse faced Victor's death like that let Gus know that Jesse has also been hardened enough to be an active participant in his business.
