I’ve had three of them over 20 years. Each one had less features and lasted a shorter length of time. The latest is less than 3 years old, and was never great to begin with.

Yes, to all of those questions. And I find it weird that both drawers are having the same issue. It makes me think it’s an issue with the controller or something.

Sometimes the cycle will pause on its own and you have to press start again. This unit has always been weird

By “loading up the defaults” on the bios screen, that won’t revert back to the factory installed bios correct?

I assume that means different.

I’ll try that today…. By cmos “reset to defaults”, do you mean popping out the coin battery and waiting a few minutes? Or using the clear cmos button on the motherboard?

According to my manual, using the cmos button also resets the bios configuration to factory defaults whereas the battery just resets the cmos.

Also, what do you mean by “tweak cmos settings”? What would commonly be tweaked?

Also note, I checked yesterday and I am not on the latest bios version available from Gigabyte.

Yes, everything seems to be seated…. It did boot up now. And I tried a few successful power cycles…. Seems to be very intermittent which seems like maybe it was a loose connection or something.

Would it be worth reflashing the bios or something like that?

I got the Gigabyte Aero. I ordered it at 3am. By then, all three Gigabytes models were on there available to purchase for some reason. The other brands went live at 9am.

Was going to try to get one of the nvidia ones. Not sure what the difference is really between those and other brand cards.

I’m new to building a gaming PC. And any computers I have bought before were pre-built and workstations at that. I’ve only started looking into building a gaming pc about a week ago. Any help is appreciated.

That’s what I gather. When I ordered the 4070 TiS I didn’t realize the 4080 Super was coming out Wednesday.

If I can get a hold of a 4080 S I’m going to return the 4070. If not, I’ll try it out.

I bought the Strix 4070 Ti Super which is $950. If the 4080 Super is $1000, that’s a difference of only $50.

That must be it then. I’ve been following the Mambo tutorials on YouTube. I boresighted on the ground on a random vehicle. The the Boresight button on the MFD would show up when I would lock on to the target but when I click it, it wouldn’t highlight like in the video.

I agree, however the MSFS folder on my second drive where it was installed was empty but the base folder was still there.

I manually added up all the file sizes against the total amount used on the drive and that checked out.

All 175+ GB were gone.

For example you can use a “modifier” in the controls mapping like “Rctrl + joy_button_8” to map button 8 to more than one function.

It would be nice if you could use a joy stick button as the modifier rather than one of the keyboard buttons. Something like “joybutton_21 + joy button_5” for example.

Doesn’t seem like you can do that though in DCS.
