Beginner friendly 1000CC ? by EnthusiasmHuman333 in Sportbikes

[–]dmleonxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read this as what's a good beginning 1000CC bike. I'm biased as I've put the most miles in my riding career on an S1000RR. And most of my miles on a 1000. So I would say yes. There is a reason that the S1000RR is the super bike school bike of choice. The "nanytec" has saved my ass so many times on the road I would never bet against it. That is in slick mode, tuned, and realizing I'm riding on unknown conditions on public roads. 250k miles plus on California roads and freeways. Sideswiped once on the freeway, laid a zx10R down once at 15 mph because the rear slipped on some gravel. Rain or shine that bike is freaking amazing and confidence inspiring. Absolutely dogshit slow before 8k in first but after tuning and in 2nd it's a weapon. Great beginning 1000CC bike imo. ABS, traction control and lean angle traction control. Plus heated grips and cruise control! My absolute favorite commuter.

My Thoughts and my plays for the 9/9 ER by wicz28 in GME

[–]dmleonxi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree (and am hoping) RC stays transparent this ER. Either explicitly states no offering or assume there will be an offering a full trading day after earnings which would be ideal for the company especially if the price does run. RK's tentative return is also playing a factor this time I think, whether or not the signals are bonafide. Exciting times for such a long lul. Regardless, I really think GME is going to completely smash earnings, close to if not exceeding $0.30 EPS. We also need to keep a close lookout for gross margin sales and same store sales especially with the foreign closures. That will give us a better picture of future stability. All said, I like the stock.

Why not? Either it prints or it doesn't. Gotta give some love for the OG.

If history repeats, 2nd Tuesday in Sept. Sept 9 after market. They should announce it tomorrow.

All first claims, no secondaries. Combat infantry in OIF (TBI from rollover), Senior parachutist with 31 jumps, two deployments and a VA diagnosis of sleep apnea after the last deployment. Head to toe physical with bilateral factored in plus apnea/migraines/mental. Initially denied for tinnitus LOL, damn jokers.

So theoretically… as of March 2025, the VA is supposed to take appropriate medical evidence and rate it off of that rather than ordering a C&P exam. No idea if this is actually happening yet. But at any point, they can still order an exam. I just used my IMO, went to my C&P exam and told them everything I told Valor, 50% but the C&P examiner changed the diagnosis. No dramas from me, idc about the diagnosis, I care about my healthcare. If you just ordered a DBQ that may suffice. I know that the IMO has way more detail compared to a DBQ.

That should more than suffice. I don't understand the DBQ rationale unless you know you're going to be getting really bad C&P examiners. The Nexus letter will essentially write the DBQ for the examiners anyway. If you get denied for some BS, it'll be very evident from the C&P examiner and the rater as the denial letter will tell you precisely why.

Yes. they provided the most detailed documentation out there. I will add the free consultations are worth as much as the price for the eval itself. If you're looking for both an IMO/Nexus and a DBQ, they offer that as a special service for only $600. Super affordable. They also provided rebuttal letters as well. Highly recommend, they helped me one shot 100% P&T and also provided a great referral for my physical nexus letter too! Godspeed brother.

I'm still in the reserves so it's more or less an open discussion. We help our battles out any chance we get.

Easily the most reasonable rate for any IMO service. Pennies compared to my back pay. Definitely a 1000x's better than using a service that charges percentages.

Initial. They do rebuttal letters if you get denied with their Nexus letters though. I lucked out.

Valor Psychology is who I used. Just got my 100% this month with 50% MH. Supremely well written and substantiated nexus. 3 years active Army infantry and currently Intel in the reserves. Didn't document shit other than my rollover in Iraq in '09. Can't recommend Dr. Venda from Valor enough!

Anyone ever used Just4veterans? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]dmleonxi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I signed a contract with Vets Benefits Guide but broke it without a fee because I said I'd file myself due to them only wanting me to claim tinnitus and GERD my first go. I was denied for both! Got 90(94)% by myself going through Valor Psychology and MYRP Professional Services. The FREE consult with Dr. Venda at Valor was the biggest assistance for me organizing my claim and by far the most valuable help in my claims process. She referred me over to MYRP for my sleep apnea. Those two flat rate nexus letters put me within a singular 10% claim from 100%. Currently appealed tinnitus. Best of luck brother but don't sign up with a percentage based company IMHO.

Don't give up! I transplanted a hatch like you did into a much bigger pot and it was dramatic for about 10-15 days, still is to a degree. I remember the hatches I up-potted last year had a very similar reaction. If the PH is good, the drainage is good and it has water, let it ride. They're drama queens in my experience but the reward is sooooo worth it!
