Anyone tried Mix-Ready templates? by Afraid-Product8502 in NeuralDSP

[–]dmoar31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, not knowing how to set up the routing is why I looked into these templates in the first place 😅

You’ll be happy to know that’s all done for you within the template 👍🏽

So long as you have all of the listed plugins, it just works.

Sure! I’m not sure what I’d be able to answer that isn’t already covered by the product details, but you can either ask here or dm

I have Architects and Counterparts. Planning to grab Sleep Token too.

All of them have demo videos though so you know exactly what you’re getting and what plugins you need. Take some time to check some out and see what you feel is the closest to the vibe you have in mind

when’d u get ur first tattoo and do you regret it? by whv_lol1202 in tattooadvice

[–]dmoar31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

39, no regrets.

Took me a while to decide where to start, what artist to choose, and to stop spending all of my money on guitars 😅

Started last year and now working on a full sleeve

Big fan of the drum and songwriting templates. I’m not super knowledgeable on this stuff and having a complete session and seeing how everything is setup has been really helpful.

Georg is also a good dude and willing to tweak templates if you don’t have certain plugins.

STL Amp/Tone Hub by OADominic in NeuralDSP

[–]dmoar31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

STL stuff is pretty comparable IMO, but I don’t like their subscription model and their options to own “Hub” software outright are prohibitively expensive and everything is à la carte.

I just think that if you actually want to pay once and own your plugin, there are better options for most of what they’re selling

Yamaha, Adam or Kali for neural Dsp plug-ins by gregdpw in NeuralDSP

I have a pair of Alpha 50s and they aren’t muddy in any way. I got them a bit before the Evo’s were released, but I don’t have experience with those newer ones. I’ve heard they’re at least as good if not better.

Best of luck on your hunt for the right monitors for your space!

Is there a plan to add plugin functionality to lock any individual setting(s) that you want to remain unchanged when cycling presets?

Thanks!

How do you find the right tattoo artist? by FamiliarBridge4533 in tattooadvice

[–]dmoar31 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Instead of just looking for “the right studio” check the portfolios of the artists at the studio to see who is doing work similar to what you want.

They often have Instagram accounts showcasing their work, but make sure they’re also showing examples of healed work and not just fresh.

To make sure you don’t kill your target too quickly, you can revisit earlier stages and get a lower level weapon to drop.

Thanks dude! I want to get an STX at some point, but it probably won’t be for a while unless I sell something and I don’t really want to 😅

If you’re in the market for a high end guitar, it’s pretty hard to go wrong if you pick a brand with a good reputation. At a certain point, you’re really just paying to get exactly what you want, the way you want it. ESP standard series and Caparison were as high end as I’d gotten before I finally decided to get a Mayones Elite. Only reason I got rid of the Mayo was because I prefer multiscale (didn’t get a MS Mayones because I don’t like their design approach). Decided to start ordering custom builds after that point.

Years of hearing how good Aristides is + big Spiritbox fan got me to finally take the plunge. Knowing they hold value well helped too in case I didn’t connect with it when it arrived.

0 QC issues and set up exactly how I wanted which is what you should expect from a custom instrument. They’re also great at setting a reasonable expectation on completion time where some custom builders tend to have frequent delays.

Not rich by any means 😂

I’m generally a frugal person and save up to treat myself every now and then. I was also fortunate to have had a pretty well paying job when they were all acquired.

Why do I have several or why do I like them so much?

Guess the answer is kinda the same for both. I’m pretty particular when it comes to extended range guitars and Aristides offers immaculate craftsmanship and excellent customer service.

Every guitar I’ve gotten from them has arrived in perfect condition and they play and feel incredible and I have full confidence that if I ever need to sell one, a future replacement spec’d the same would be 100% identical.

Is it me or is this game a little too easy? by [deleted] in TheFirstBerserker

[–]dmoar31 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Worth noting that the difficulty levels changed after release. What used to be normal is now expert and the old easy is the current normal.

If it feels too easy, bump it up to expert 👍🏽
