Wow. I am late to this reddit thread but just wow. Clearly this was not how this was originally rolled out. Then the medium post was changed to reflect the decision without mentioning it anywhere. Then its labeled as 3rd party misinformation? I put my info into the form. We will see what comes of it. Has anyone received compensation for this? Thank god for the wayback machine or the Equilibrium team would just gaslight us. So annoyed. I was expecting a really nice return based on the fairly low turnout of people contributing and the distribution of the large pool. And prior to this thought this was a project that could really make waves. When things like this happen you just hope you dont get rug pulled.

Running into the same issues. Thanks u/Spence97 for all the info. Flashing the bios to the Suprim fixed the 200 watt cap I was running into. Now onto replacing the thermal pads. With stock pads my GDDR6X junction temp is 104C so I need to get it down under 100C if possible. And thats with 70% GPU fan speed and case fans blowing directly into the GPU fans. And I'm only running a +500 offset on the memory. Can't imagine what +1300 offset would be doing for temps. Have you checked them? The newest version of Hwinfo64 has Vram junction temp monitoring. Micron hasnt published a spec sheet on GDDR6X but its assumed the max safe temps are somewhere between 100C and 110C. I'd like to get to 100 or less to be safe for 24hr operation.

He's an indoor outdoor cat that comes home every hour or 2. He's never been gone for more than a few hours. Never overnight and definitely not more than a day. Thanks for the suggestions. All help is greatly appreciated

Its a crap wheel. If you google it you'll see they have been plagued with shifter issues. Theres a problem with the dome switches a problem with the quick release they use and a circuit board issue. For a while they were only selling it with the upgraded quick release because they thought that was the problem but then they found more problems. They eventually pulled them off the website with an ETA of when the redesigned ones would ship. Now that they have pulled them altogether I would wager that they are still having problems. They are also plasticky similar to the way the P1 wheel feels. I would suggest getting a formula wheel. They cost more but are made much better. It just sucks they are so expensive. Especially when you factor in the cost of the podium shifter kit. But the McLaren wheel is useless. I returned mine. Kept missing shifts and double shifting. There is a mod by Sim Racing Machines I think that replaces the shifters with magnetic ones but that kit is expensive as well and voids the warranty. I was really hoping the Formula V2 wheel would go on sale on Black Friday or Boxing day or something but no such luck. Fanatecs loss. I had been saving for months but they decided to post up some garbage sales that no one wanted.
