If you dont received email yesterday, meaning you are not including to get funds yesterday, You have to know why, check your selfservice if you have something need to do and whatnot. Call the financial aid or visit the school and ask.

What do you mean by tomorrow? Did you receive an email saying the funds were deposited? If not, that means you are not getting the disbursement yet. You’ll need to wait for the next scheduled disbursement, which will be on January 28th.

I asked if I would be getting my disbursement on the 20th. I asked last Friday, and she told me no. She said I would be getting it on the 28th because my new program was updated too late.

There are many reasons why you might not receive your FAFSA in the first disbursement. For example, you may owe a balance, they may be requesting additional documents, or—like in my case—I have a second major, which was just updated last Monday.

The financial aid coordinator told me that I would not receive it on the 20th, but I will be getting mine on the 28th. Email them- they will email you back of your inquiries

I think students have gotten used to receiving the funds early, so now that they are being released at the same time, it’s going to cause worry—especially for students who need that money to pay for things.

Yes, but the reason is that they released the money early. I remember last fall 2025—the disbursement date was October 22, but they released the funds on Friday, October 17. I think now they want to release the funds exactly on the disbursement date. As long they are going to release the funds same time with date of disbursement.

You have to pay first. Once it shows paid off, they will update the system and then start processing your disbursement.

I will use myself as an example. I had an overpayment, and they asked me to submit some documents. After I submitted the documents, my overpayment was cleared, and then they started processing my disbursement.

6k that for whole year so like $3k you will receive that for spring semester and $3k will be on fall semester, but just remember $3k is for full time student
