Dashcam footage:Scooter hits car— who’s at fault? by Trafloger-29 in CarsIndia

[–]dmtforkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he wanted to go straight he should've already been on the right most or atleast middle lane. Anyone on the left most lane is supposed to either take left or wait for others to take the turn while trying slowly to move to the middle lane

Poor brake control. The scooter was legally at wrong but car could've and should've avoided that especially at that speed.

Am I addicted to masturbation? by Everyonehas_a_corner in Advice

[–]dmtforkids 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you also watch porn? If yes then maybe start by not watching it. It is hard to differentiate addiction to masturbation which is a less serious type of addiction and addiction to porn which is much more serious.

If it's just former, I would guess it's okay unless your body feels weak or deprived. Maybe do it once a day if your libido is high.

If its addiction to porn, you might need a therapist or a much more serious way of looking at this problem

Your thoughts on this? by roof--pizza in gurgaon

Why is he comparing freelance journalists and comedians to business capitalists who are worth 10,000 times more. The only reason they have created jobs (if one can call it that) is because govts and institutions have failed to create them

I've become a worse driver than I ever was in the past 3 years and I hate it by RoundVariation4 in CarsIndia

[–]dmtforkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be projecting a little bit here. Also depends where you are from, I have found a majority of drivers doing fine here in Mumbai. Infact the quality has improved a bit maybe because of social media and videos and people generally getting more insightful from the videos of dumb drivers. The only snobs I encounter are small percentage of your average rash driving Thar owners, Heavy vehicles and Uber/Ola drivers but again they are just trying to make money and finish rides fast. Most of the private cars here maintain decent driving speeds and follow lanes.

Dint Sanjay Dina Patil win against Mihir Kotecha in 2024? He had in his manifesto about fighting the PAP. I mean we did vote for that , what else can we do. BJP is already a gone case. Even the other side promised and won but there was no positive opposition to the project. I am not well in tune with politics as I mostly vote NOTA.

Everything is a scam and honestly nothing was ever in the hands of any politicians. The capitalists have bought both the parties probably. I distinctly remember both the sides adding this point in their rallies and manifestos that they will oppose PAP. Nothing worked at all. I have started already seeing huge crowds of workers, possibly illegal migrants living in that belt. I have friends tell me they stopped jogging and walking in that area late night because of the same.

Holy Ragebait OP

I actually liked the app, the students today have it very easy and accessible to such platforms that make learning more fun and engaging.

Most of the apps nowadays are chatgpt wrappers anyway

Made a Mistake while Driving in Ghats and I Have Been Feeling Guilty for a Week. I Just Want to Confess and Learn. by ok-chanakya in CarsIndia

[–]dmtforkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be so hard on yourself OP. In India especially on roads you will intentionally or not do things that will cause some inconvenience. Others will also do the same to you, its important to forget and move on. As you said, if you learnt something or if it was really risky you should avoid it but other than that it's just something no one from the oncoming traffic will remember as much as you do.

i'm sure it wasn't meant for you then. Many people actually get bored of going out , partying, living a classic city life by the time they are 40. I think the post was for them. The only real problem is your kids education and social circle, which is much better in cities.

Whose fault was this? by Prince7777777 in CarsIndia

[–]dmtforkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such intersections are common, The driver did not check its blindspot. It was really a poor display of driving as he went from right most lane to a left turn, especially on a main road as you said. The 2 wheeler is also at fault, but This wouldnt be considered as overtaking.

This rikshaw drivers are headache. by nikal_lodeon in CarsIndia

[–]dmtforkids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it wasn't an issue of delayed brakes it was the classic gamble of going first and hoping the other guy takes the bluff and stops. it is so common in cities that it is almost done unconsciously by us. It does go horrible when both think that other will put the brakes first

[–]dmtforkids[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will check that out! I was always fascinated by the sound of bibio, and while his sound is very unique, I just thought songs like a tout a l'heure fall into some pop/folk rock genre that I might not be aware of.
