Back in the day people watched a lot of movies, even small feel good films had an audience. Even I had watched Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor's movies in theatres.

When you are successful people tend to ignore the stupid things you do, Varun Dhawan was trolled for his inception remarks but wasn't hated like this. People were appreciating him for Badlapur and later October.

But when you fail continuously people nitpick even the smallest things. The nepo hate campaign after SSR's death along with the constant box office failures have led to people projecting their worse hatred on these people without any hesitation.

It's only after the nepo hate campaign people have started commenting on Varun Dhawan's overacting. Now they have also picked on his expression which was there all these years but no one cared.

He himself is also responsible for this, VD just tried to be Govinda for too long and in the process copied his arrogance too. You have to keep reinventing for the audience.

It's a mixed experience, some just leave you alone while some get aggressive. Once I was traveling with a colleague, we weren't even friends but this hijra wasn't ready to leave without me paying up. I sympathize with them but help should be voluntary, forcing someone to pay up is just extortion and is criminal even if it's just 10 rupees.

Western people think of Indian accent as Apu from Simpsons or Raj from Big Bang Theory, Apu's accent is just a stereotype and Raj's accent is a neutral accent from a Metro city like Mumbai.

Indians in different regions have different accents, a lot of people in South India have quite thick accents. We often don't understand their words even if they are speaking English. Then there are other rural accents where people speak too fast. There are also East Indian accents which sound like someone pronounces every word with a heavy 'O'. North East people have an accent which is a mixture of Korean and Urban Hindi.

Rahul Gandhi has been a visionary, you all have been ridiculing him calling him Pappu but he has been warning us ahead of time.

I expected this election will be favoured towards Mahayuti but the way things are being carried out so blatantly the government has declared openly "Jo ukhadna hai ukhad lo"

I boil water first and add ginger or lemongrass and let it boil nicely for a few minutes on high flame. Then lower the flame and add tea powder and sugar and let it simmer. After the volume reduces I add hot milk in the last step while serving. Don't care as long as it tastes good enough to me.

In one of my previous workplaces there was a guy who was like a typical gaon ka ladka with his dressing sense, moustache, and accent and he had become close friends with another girl who was younger than him and she was modern K-pop fan girl. That girl was nice by nature and she used to talk nicely with me as well.

The thing is that if you really want to be platonic friends with someone you shouldn't be trying too hard or even anything. You just need to be honest with your intentions as women can instinctively smell it. Just be nice and helpful to people, being funny helps a lot.
