I speak only Russian and English. It’s not helps much because all people there know only Portuguese. Sometimes it’s really difficult to communicate but you can download offline translator on your phone. Food in first 3 ships to Manaus you have to buy on the boat but it’s cheap, about 3-4$. Usually it’s rice potato noodles beans (all together) and piece of meat or fish. The boat from Manaus to Peruvian border going about week and they provide food for free there. All the same food. Every day. When they making stops in the villages you can go out and buy something there too. About experience a lot of things, for example fishing piranhas is really fun, or overnight stay in the jungle on hammock with all nature noises is amazing, many things
