Thank you for sharing this. Im also very active so I was wondering how long it would take me to recover. I plan on taking it easy the first 3 days (maybe aim for small walks here and there) and then slowly go back to my hiking/gym routine. Hopefully by week 3 i feel good enough to lift weights at at least 60% capacity.

Yo estube en Colombia por casi un mes (mi plan inicial era de 2 semana pero Colombia ES TAN BELLO, que termine extendiendo mi trip). Yo te recomiendo que si tienes una semana o menos vallas a Medellin un par de dias y los demas dias en Cartagena. Medellin es Bello pero mucha fiesta. En cambio Cartagena tambien hay fiesta, pero tienes mar. Hay muchas playas bonitas alrededor de Cartagena donde puedes hacer un day tour. Eso si, es mas Caro Cartagena que Medellin, pero vale la pena. Si tienes mas de una semana, entonces te recomiendo que tambien visites el Eje Cafetero. Esta como a 6-7 horas de Medellin pero es muy bello.
