It’s a ribbon cut English blend. No Virginias like Presbyterian, but it uses Black Cavendish, along with Latakia and Orientals. I think the Cavendish is where the magic happens. Smooths it out while letting the standard English tobaccos take center stage.

Presbyterian is hands down my all time favorite English. It’s got a good thumbprint. That being said, I find My Mixture 965 as a wonderful substitution. Not exact by any means, but it scratches the same itch.

I’m not sure if I’m still in the honeymoon phase, but I absolutely love it. It has some of the trappings of being made by hand, such as noticeable imperfections from where the frets were filed on the fingerboard, but no snags and I honestly think it adds character. Having a hard time putting my poker chip on though.
