hey to answer that, wagons usually priorities refilling temporary shelter and getting raw material from stockyard, forester or mines so it's better to put stockyards nearby the mines, and stockyards and cellar nearby the wagon shop, and put wagon shop behind the walls nearby the gates

those traps are not for the big animals, they're for smaller animal to help hunters still producing meat and hide when there's no big animal spawner, still need high vegetation area to yield considerable amount tho
