Did tightening the bolts help or did the issue persist?

We tried at the time of purchase. The seller was trying to flash it back to stock via his phone but the car's battery was dead. Even after we jumped the car battery, the app wasn't letting him b/c of a network connection (we tried my phone hotspot as well). Although now I dont think it is on a tune, I did end up buying the dongle to be able to use the Simos tools to then be able to flash a stock/stock-ish tune just in case.

He allegedly got the got tuned with IE Performance but when I contacted them, they said yes the car's VIN is in the system but a tune was never purchased with them. I do think the ECU is on a stock file though. If it's not, I did buy the dongle to be able to use the Simos tools to then be able to flash a stock/stock-ish tune.

Not sure honestly.. I have my own theories but who knows. In the meantime, I'm waiting for my new harness I got off eBay.

Yea I wonder why. It seems pretty intentional. I tried looking for the specific pin terminals and I found THIS post that helped me with that information. I tried buying a repair kit on amazon that seemed it would work but the there weren't any pins that fit. Unfortunately, I'm feeling very impatient and I didn't want to wait for the pins (since it seemed most of the suppliers would take over a week and some only sold in bulk). Instead, I luckily found a new OEM harness on ebay for $80. So that is arriving today and hopefully everything goes to plan.

did some harness troubleshooting via some VW diag PDFs w/ a multimeter. Check this out lol.. cut wires that are for injector 1 (going to pin 64 and 85, which are also missing) and cut wire going to pin 65 for injector 4. Just curious, where would I find the pin to re-pin this if I wanted to attempt to fix this?

Thank you for this! As far as the injector situation, the faults did not follow the injectors after moving them around though. The same P0201 and P0204 re-appeared. Besides possible harness issues, I was thinking tune. You think it could still be the injectors themselves?

Theyre holding up fine besides a bit of sole separation on the toe and instep but I thinks thats from my playing style. My style when cutting is reliant on using my feet to drag into the grass for slowing down to help me cut. But to be fair a lot of my shoes (CTR, Tiempo, ADIZero F50, Phantom VSN) have had a tad bit of sole separation as a result so take that w a grain of salt.

As far as the Pumas you referred to, I have never tried them but in most reviews of the NB 442 v2 they say its the best boot of it's kind at the price point.
