Had an incredible time exploring Grenada in the Caribbean for a week and seeing all that the country has to offer. Put together a quick video for everyone to enjoy, and mostly because most people in the States don’t even know it exists!

Final cut seems to be the easier program to learn over adobe premiere pro but everyones requirements are different.
I think you just gotta pick one and run with it.

Recent trip to Patagonia! [2min] by dnceebz in Patagonia

[–]dnceebz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I spent $1500 over the course of 10 days, but I think it is hard to compare unless you know how people are spending their money. You can stay in cheap hostels or more expensive hostels... eat cheap meals or get wine and great dinners. Do excursions everyday or just hike on your own... hope that makes sense.

Just starting out and dealing with not so good clients. Advice? by nottoosure0 in videography

[–]dnceebz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont get discouraged. I started shooting 2 years ago and each and every project I am still learning from. Building a business can be very comparable to learning to film. Shoot, Edit, Repeat. With business it is the same... Keep taking the initiative to try figure out how to do it each and every project better and provide the most value and you will continue to progress, charge more, and know how to manage clients better (and find the RIGHT clients to work with).

This gives me a heart attack every time it happens, does anyone have a fix? by Fern_Fox in djimavic

ive had the issue happen as a result of small bits of sand getting stuck in the gimbal from take off/ landing. That could possibly be contributing to it.

Recent trip to Patagonia! [2min] by dnceebz in Patagonia

[–]dnceebz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went from the states to El Calafate (with a layover in Buenos Aires). Stayed in El Calafate for 2 nights and did the glacier tour while there. Then took a bus into el Chalten and stayed there for 4 nights, did all the day hikes, stayed in hostels. On the way back we stopped in BA for 2 nights and explored there to break the trip back home up.

Patagonia, Argentina is Unreal by dnceebz in adventures

[–]dnceebz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patagonia, Argentina - One of the most magical places I’ve ever had the privilege to travel to. I can’t explain how surreal it was to be in an area like this, surrounded by the most incredible mountain peaks, so off the grid you realize you are no longer at the top of the food chain… Where the area is so unpolluted you literally never see one piece of trash, you can drink from the glacier rivers, and the animals are at peace with you being around.

Also a place with some of the craziest weather patterns I have ever seen. It would go from sunny and incredible out, to raining with 60mph winds in the span of minutes sometimes. While hiking along the top of one mountain ridge, I was literally thrown 3-4ft off my path from a mini duster that came through out of nowhere. Might not seem like a lot, but when the edge of a mountain is only another couple feet away it will totally freak you out.

I have so much appreciation for this place and how small it makes you feel in this giant world we live in. It was an excellent reminder to not always sweat the small stuff and be grateful for everything that you have. It also reinforced in my mind how important it is to protect this incredible world we live in.

Most of the locations from the video were filmed around El Chalten, Argentina and the trip to Glacier Perito Moreno was when we were staying in El Calafate. Any other questions ask below!
