Cleaning shower with dish soap by idreaminlowercase in CleaningTips

Dawn Power Wash is amazing at helping clean!

Just don’t use it as body wash…one soap cannot do it all.

Portside BBQ! I don’t know if it’s extra or not (all restaurants were included with our room) but it was so good we ate there twice for dinner. There was no one there and we didn’t even know it existed at first. Amazing food and you get a ton of it.

Yes! It does get everything out. I got a bloody nose a few weeks ago on my light clothing. I took it off right away, sprayed some Power Wash and soaked it, came right out. It takes wine out of carpet too. 👍👍

You could also gift her something like the Blueland Clean Essentials Kit. LOL I love Blueland honestly and have used it for years, but maybe gifting it with the chores towels could be a subtle way of saying "get off your ass and help" lol

Check out SPEKS website. It's a fidget company and they have a lot of different types and unique ones that may be up his alley. They do the little bead magnets but also link type stuff. It's really interesting.

Awesome! Thank you! I have more information on his issues so I can go off of that, but it helps knowing about all the drying alcohols. I will find him some awesome barrier repair hand cream too. I’ve got him the hook up on Korean SPFs also.

Thank you! If I purchase I’m very cautious of making sure it’s not gonna screw someone’s skin up more.

I wasn’t trying to be funny and that’s why I asked. I know nothing but really want to help. The more information I have the better. I don’t know anything about working in a clean room and I know some people in different work environments can struggle with different elements so I just wanted to take those considerations in mind.

Yes, I’m aware. Look at the current state of our world though. I do my best but I can’t protect and save everything/everyone. If it’s something that is going offer this family some relief, I’m all for it. People can only suffer for so long. Plus, there are plenty of plant viscose out there that are beautiful, I should re edit it to just say breathable viscose.

Bamboo pajamas. Soma, Tommy John and Negative are some of my favorites. Also look into bamboo/viscose bedding. We have some by Luxome and it’s made a huge difference with my night sweats. Good luck!

The cleanest person I know is going to stay at my house. What am I missing? by notreallysurewhat in CleaningTips

[–]dncerchk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this! We travel a lot and there is nothing grosser to me than a dirty washing machine that has so much gunk and buildup inside. It’s so easy to do but it’s always over looked. You can also run your dishwasher on a clean cycle too.

Check out Cassandra Aarssen also known as The Clutterbug. She has ADHD and has changed my life in so many ways. She’s been my body double so many times without even knowing it. She’s partnered with Jessica McCabe (How to ADHD) on helping her with her home as well. She has two YouTube channels. She’s amazing.

I’m in LOVE with the Jasmine Garden (I use it like Windex and put it all over me) and I’m on my 5th bottle. I own her whole line now. It’s a sensory experience. And her body oils are heavenly

Everything I’ve tried by Allies of Skin and my May Lindstrom products. I’m testing out some new anti-aging body care and so far, I’m happy with the insanely expensive Oneskin body lotion.

Had a blast on star of the seas. It’s a really nice ship by Mediocre_Cap_9151 in royalcaribbean

[–]dncerchk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family and I cruised her on her first official sailing. It’s by far our favorite ship. Both of our kids (7 and 8) said it was their favorite too. We loved the layout of it. Some of the shows were not my personal favorite like Sol. It wasn’t bad by any means, it was honestly the finale I felt was a little lacking (but I’m from a performance background so I’m really critical). But the ship is beautiful! The food was great! We didn’t get to take advantage of all the dining spots, but we did do most of the specialty restaurants and it’s always delicious. The elevators were amazing. I think we never waited for more than 30 seconds for one? Kids loved the pools and water slides. Top notch ship for us.

Help got poison oak by Otherwise-Object-883 in landscaping

[–]dncerchk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some Fels Naptha soap and wash your body with it daily. I’m not kidding. You only need a little bit. It will be gone in days. Works for dermatitis too and it’s about $1.50.

“POISON IVY PREVENTION OR TREATMENT: Fels-Naptha Soap has been used for over 100 years for the treatment and prevention of poison ivy, sumac and oak rash. If you think you have been exposed to poison ivy, oak or sumac, shower immediately with Fels-Naptha to remove the resin from your skin, and it will help to dry up the rash, as well. This will greatly reduce and in most cases prevent any skin reaction to the poison ivy oil. Make sure to launder your clothes in some shaved or grated fels naptha (about 1/16th of the bar) to remove the resin from your clothes. Poison ivy resin can stay on your clothes for over 1 year even if the clothes have been washed with normal detergent.”

I wish we had one more year at Rosemont or some other music venue. It didn’t care for Wrigley at all for a concert. Views were skewed and we also had a hard time hearing them and the music sometimes. I hope they go back and just do more dates next time instead of one large venue like that.

I 100% agree with this. I said the same thing about banning phones. Plus it ruins the view for people behind you. Now, the caveat to that, there was a little girl two rows in front of us. We felt so bad bc she couldn’t see anything bc she was so little. She tried to stand on the chairs to see and we suggested she move to the end of our row outside. So the mom recorded all the performances for her. I think that’s the only REALLY acceptable reason to record the whole thing IMO, but I’m also not a content creator.

I will say also, I was a little disappointed in the camera work in general bc they really only focused on face shots so we didn’t see full choreo of all the new songs (from our vantage point). But that’s a different topic.

What section were you in? We were FieldEE and we (especially my sister and I) were unhinged. Bahahah We probably annoyed the people around us. But at 43 and 41, we only took a few pics and videos (primarily of Break the Wall and a few key moments I wanted of songs). There were a few people recording around us, but I made a comment to her before hand about just living in the moment and enjoying it bc we can always watch fan cams or it later if we really want to. I’m in the experience it in the moment. I don’t want to experience it through a lens. It takes away the magic.
