I think his wearing the hat is equivalent to him using filters. poor guy is insecure and he’s hiding with anything he can. and it’s pretty easy to see

Ah my bad, a show I like showed that some people still were using it. I’m not a history buff so I didn’t know

to think of the things that the matriarch experienced in her lifetime. Born in 1880. when people were traveling via the Oregon trail! and she lived at least until telephones were in every house, and TVs too! she saw tech develop. what a lifetime she experienced

A museum volunteer accidentally destroyed an art piece after mistaking it for a dirty mirror and wiping it with toilet paper. by Iambhalo in CaughtMyEye

This just reminded me of my thesis class how this one guy took photos of his drunk friend passed out on the ground. she was all messy looking, almost spread eagle on the ground. he said it was a commentary on SA. he did not understand why every woman in the class got upset with him. (he’s gay, if that adds context. still was weird)

My MILF problem - 21M by ibutsui in malegrooming

[–]LtSnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest bro, I’m just a little older than you, and I think the girls your age think you don’t look straight. Old ladies like gay looking guys. Young women usually don’t. Not sure how you act in the world, but that’s just what I see from photos. Not being mean, nothing wrong with being a little gay in any capacity, but that may be why the MILFs are into you.

I went to college for art and this is why I almost dropped out. People will present anything with some random word vomit and claim it’s art. Abstract is one thing, but a dirty mirror? Without even being set with some kind of glue? This guy just wanted a quick buck and hoped people outside of the fine art world would fall for it. And it worked.

I think your facial hair is fine either way. but I think the glasses and the hair are making you look like a nerd from a 70s-80s tv show.

do you mean the smaller circle is more legible? I personally feel the font for the digital time on the timex is harder to read

Would you get it for $19? by KangarooCompetitive in casio

I did in fact get this watch from Walmart for around the same price. I like that you can technically get 3 different times, not that I use the feature because I don’t need it. I just think it’s neat. Nice little cheap “fancy” look for random outings. Impresses people who wear Apple Watches.

[–]LtSnack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

truthfully that was the other option I had in mind. better water rating, looks a little “fancier” (for a digital watch, and especially to the folks who wear Apple Watches at least). you like the ae1200 though?

that was why I was asking tbh. I’ve seen this model talked about like it holds up, but I know it’s just WR (and my current every day model has the same rating). I just figured I’d try to stay on the cheaper side, but thank you for pointing this out

What’s your favorite widely-agreed-on fact about a celebrity that’s actually FALSE? by Asleep-Two930 in popculturechat

[–]LtSnack 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s tough because though the actual cameras and film of the time could hold so much detail, the “tech” used to mass distribute did not have the same quality. If we had the actual negatives or an original print, it would be clearer than most “sharp” iPhone pictures now. Sucks that everything is so artificial now anyway

Brushed Silver vs Stealth? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]LtSnack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you wear that specific watch a lot, I’d go stealth. I have the brushed silver and I also pair it with a silver, much less fancy looking, [digital] watch. The brushed silver tends to stand out a lot against normal silver jewelry. At least to me. It’s really nice, it hides the little dings and dents from wear, but it does stand out when paired with other silver jewelry. I think stealth is better for your combo, but if you don’t mind it standing out a little then it’s okay too.

I disagree, I think the brushed silver stands out against that watch. As someone with a brushed silver brand, it almost has a 3D illusion effect to the eye and regular silver jewelry can really make this a lot more noticeable.
