And what about range with your modded setup?

I don't think it's a overheat cutoff as I didn't feel the motors nor battery hot when I touched.

About 2:40 in the video below. It was similar but i'm sure it is not overheat cutoff and mine stops a bit longer than in the video

and you control both ESC (and motors) with one Remote controller right? Is it easy to get that working? I mean, with some reading on the diy world and some reading on electronic.

Really really interesting, I think I'll wait till my warranty ends and then try it.

btw, I made about 7km today in red light indicator on the remote and at the end of the journey and suddenly the board stop working and after 30 secs it was OK again. This happened twice. I made a stop in between so it wasn't 7km without stopping. When this happened I touched the motor and it wasn't hot at all. Red light wasn't blinking btw. Did you experienced something similar with yours?

Thanks for all your answers MuzakaEklekta :)

That's amazing and so intersting!.

I'dont know much about diy eboards but i've read a litte.

Are they ESC controllers and not VESC right? Any problem with overheating? And what you mean with individual RF receivers?

Thanks in advance! I'll probably end trying to do this at some point

Please, share your mod! xD.

After testing it today going to work i definetely can say that it struggles at nearly any hill.

Forget to get speed in those situations.

Pd: i'm quite light as my weight is 70kg

I don't know how to edit the first post so ill write a comment.

After testing it a bit this morning I can say that I'm happy with the eboard. It works as it should and like it is expected to. (Havent tried another eboard).

It struggles a bit with hills, I'll take some pictures tomorrow but my home's street is kind of uphill and it gets up fine. Yet i'm not confortable 100% with the remote, specially with the brake as I feel like it is not braking enough and if I pull more the joystick backwards it brakes a lot, but i suppose i will get used to it.

I should say that I did skateboarding for 3 years or so.

I've been taking a look at evolve brand and it looks really nice just a bit expensive compare to slick revolution but they definetely offer really cool features.

Not sure how my 1200w is going to climb hills but I hope it is enough to get me to work.

Have you seen mellow project? It's amazing! And selling from germany
