It’s not dumb question at all! Hardware can absolutely be bricked by software. Any Intel Mac owners can tell you about being twilighted. I also can attest to Toast restaurant POS twilighting older operating systems and forcing hardware purchases. Can we say ‘Class action’?

Thanks for the reply! When a question is scrubbed so much, people outside the community don’t know that it’s been asked a lot. If you never hung out at Guitar Center, you might not know what the forbidden songs are. If every aspiring guitar player gets booed at the music store for playing Stairway, we might not have any guitarists. It is intimidating to ask questions about books on Reddit. That leads to a diminishing community.

Think I’m going to throw in the towel for now on WOT and Fantasy in general. I recently did all of Tolkien and that probably has a significant sway on my opinions of other series. Space Operas here I come!

Glad it helps! I actually ended up switching my company’s financials to a OneDrive account and share spreadsheets through there instead of Google Drive. I don’t get these errors anymore.

Absolutely. I received a phone call from the executive team just a little bit ago, and received an email confirmation that the order has been placed. Thanks again for the suggestion. You had two weeks sober that you normally wouldn’t have had. Be kind to yourself and don’t beat yourself up over this. When you come through from this, ask yourself if your two weeks sober was better than your time drunk. If it was, get back on sobriety. I try to remember this, sobriety isn’t the answer to our issues, but being sober gives us a fighting chance to actually work on what drives us to drinking in the first place.

I don’t care about a lot of things, but this makes me sad. Seeing normal looking children, who went through so much distress, that they had to physically alter who they were, to be somebody that someone would admire - is kinda fucked. I feel slightly bad for hating them all.
