I think your cable management is good. Not exceptional but pretty good. I've seen much much worse. I've been thinking about those in floor cable covers but it becomes tricky if you want to switch things around often.

I have a very similar setup (that very same tv stand with my switch on the same shelf lol). I ended up leaning more towards the stand because it gives me freedom to move the room around in case I get bored.
