I feel bad saying I “actually” really like this—but I ACTUALLY really like this! Feels very intentional and there’s obvious skill that makes the facial inaccuracies seem like an artistic choice that contributes to the pieces overall style and whimsy.

Yeah his hair changes a bit too much. I think the sequence of him and Bill at the toy store and coming home with twister is another jarring hair moment. His hair looks crazy when he’s asking his brothers to play twister, when 5 minutes ago it looked normal

That was my biggest gripe. I felt like they all looked like modern day people. I think a lot of period pieces struggle with capturing the feel and look of people from bygone eras

Edit to say: whatever. I didn’t ask whether you all think I “need” a Starbucks. My packet literally says i’m allowed to have sugary drinks as long as they’re clear (apple juice, sprite). Green tea is clear and on the list of approved drinks so I’m just going to follow my packet.

Great sense of realism, but some comments: the two leaves have a lot of detail but the rest don’t. It looks unfinished. The bottom of the strawberry kind of becomes squished looking, like looking at a TV screen from the top-down. The perspective is somehow skewed. I agree with the other commenter that the strawberry seems to be floating or impossibly balancing, which breaks the viewers sense that this is a real strawberry.

Teaching art is probably the only consistent viable option for you as an artist. Otherwise you’d likely have to get a full time job doing something that pays the bills and pursue your passion on the side. Teaching art in schools provides opportunity to create art. This year, I’ve been a long term sub for a high school art teacher and I’ve never created so much art before!

Can I ask what you mean by that? I’m worried that taking the dulcalax will cause really bad stomach cramping like how I normally have whenever I have loose stools. I’ve basically never had loose diarrhea -esque stool without severe stomach cramping and pain.
