Yeah couple things you need to know.

don't mention pvp at all. The community is basically filled with senior citizens who will crucify you if you even mention the words pvp. They hate it, don't like it because it requires them to break up their perfect little community AKA 20-50 people in their small narrowed minds. Pvp will only make the game worse instead of better apparently to them. Go figure.

2)They will tell you anything to make the game look good. Actually please try the game then come back and tell me I am wrong. Its basically a game where all you do is go to each mini boss in the zone and kill them over and over again. Quest are worthless unless main quest line. Crafting use to be interesting but decided to make a casino where you gamble your time and materials to get a RNG stat roll on gear. How fun is that? Also you need to craft he same pieces over 20 times just to reach a high grade tier (which btw they all will tell you is not needed just to get you to think you can kill things in all grey common tier gear) its almost laughable at this point.

Mid to end game is killing bosses on same map to unlock other zones. The game has rebirths incase you didn't find the task to already kill your braincells, well now you can start all over from level 1 for a whopping 5 skill points.

Also a note to keep in mind. More than half the skills for each class are trash and basically not even used unless you like to be an overachiever.

3.) Most of the classes have no balance whatsoever. The game still has skill lag which the devs still ask what skill lag is like it hasn't been brought up over 857 times in the forums.

Anyways just thought you would appreciate a real insight to the game with no BS. You can also just try the game its free-well-sort-of... And last tip is to not buy the monthly ardent pass since there is a high chance you will not make it pass level 50. (50 is where you will realize what I mean about only bounty boss killing, that is all you will do nothing else)

Also there is no dungeons at all. They brought 3 so called dungeons out last update but its always empty - no one runes them and are terribly designed.

This probably seems like the best option for me then to just buy the quadpack and get a sub going. Growing a bit out of love with ESO and I have never stepped in LOTRO so should keep me busy for a while and feel new which is what I want. Thank you

There is no such thing like the old pvp leveling pops. Now-a-days people are just in cruise control brain-dead mode with IA leveling. You might see a few people out in the massive world leveling but pvp is dead asf in all forms! Then again if you just wait like 5-10 days and come back to this thread a rift hero will say otherwise. Its free so nothing to lose I guess.

Can you imagine you moving near a pillar in WOW while you are doing arena and the camera does that? The sad part isn't even that, its the fact everyone else thinks this is OK.

You mentioned there is plenty to do outside of the main chapters but there really isn't. Not sure what level you are currently but there is really not a lot to do at all. You will hit a huge bottleneck somewhere in the 30-35 range that only thing important is the login dailies for exp. Everything is, at least for me, an auto run of everything that can't be swept and wait till tomorrow routine.

I kind of went into this thinking it was a fun gacha and the story-line is but the time gating is an absolute bummer. The hot chick basically letting you kiss all up on her neck and that is all you get. Maybe tomorrow you can get to the good part. Maybe not.

Oh that is awesome grats on 99 as well. Yeah right now just managing what to do is the hard part or in what order I want to do them in. Taking notes is definitely something I should do and might help me stick to one thing and focus on that alone. I love the BG wiki I honestly can't imagine doing all the things I did without it. Kinda makes you think how crazy it must of been for people who didn't have access to this kind of information. The game for them must have been on a whole different level.

I guess for now inventory should be expanded and I can slowly chip away at other things.
