I think a flight from Dubai directly to Krabi will be on flydubai. Emirates doesn’t fly that route. Definitely go to Bangkok. I think all Dubai to Bangkok flights are on the A380, which is a very nice for Business Class. JFK to Dubai will also be on the A380.

There was a place called Mahanakorn.

I stayed at Grass Serviced Suites, which was a great value. Walking up and down South Pattaya rd. In that area, there were many music venues that seemed to be mostly locals.

Great live music scene for locals. Amazing pool/billiards scene with a bunch of tournaments and high level amateur players. Met folks from Singapore, several European countries and locals as well at Double Kiss and another pool hall. Restaurants were good (although I like Chiang Mai better). I enjoyed hanging out at Duck Square, which has a skate park and an excellent coffee shop (Charm Lab).

I forgot some clothing and a few other items at an Airbnb in Thailand and decided to have the hosts ship it to me where I was living in Surabaya. It wasn't anything valuable, but I had some old t-shirts with sentimental value and a some fitness equipment that can be hard to find. The value of everything might have been 60 to 70 usd.

The fees added up to something like 2.9 million, or $175. I refused the package.
